Women don't have "power", as 100% of women's "power" is based on men protecting them, from #MeToo to quota hired jobs on corporate boards, women are forever at the whim of men.

Their entire "power" is based on men pitying them and acquiescing to their demands, cuz pussy worship.

Women have no power, because in the end, what defines power is violence and lethality, and women just can't compete in the great arena in that situation.

But women have no actual power except in luxury. In calamity, or in the absence of civilization, women become a trade item, like ammunition or salt.

Actually I think a lot of women do not feel like they have power. Most people don’t feel like they have power... because mostly we don’t.

Blaming the other gender on that lack of power is just the way a lot of people handle it because we are taught romantic relationships are supposed to ‘complete us’. Most of us are kept from any real power by capitalism. But that’s harder to wrap your head around than ‘fuck gender Z THEY are doing this to US!’

Also I’m non monogamous, more and more people are choosing different relationship structures. It’s not just shopping for the right person. It’s actually wanting (and being capable of handling) multiple relationships.

Economics would lead me to believe that large demand and low supply creates high prices. In other words, we value most what is hard to get but everyone wants. For woman, sex is cheap and relationships from healthy men are expensive. For men, relationships are cheap and sex is harder to find especially without the relationship. So yeah, women have the power in terms of sex and men have the power in terms of commitment.

Since my parents got divorced, my father has married twice more. My mother said she was done with men and never even dated. Power is essentially getting others to willingly sacrifice or postpone their own interests to further your own, right?

Making others compete to be with you is a form of power. Many will give their best, but only one is going to get a payoff, if any. At the very least, a woman who can get a man to willingly participate in that has power over him. The RP concept of frame seems to pretty much revolve around making sure the power mostly stays with the man instead. For example, having it so that the women are competing for him instead of the reverse.

Dating is like a game, and men invent rules for games and chose usually a third part to be the jury so we can all play and start at an equal... Foot.

Women are like referees in football. Yeah, they have the "power", but they are not really the ones playing.

Women "picking" men are not more natural that the pact that men did to respect the rules and let women picking their mates becouse when men did it it was a shitty time.

But that's not "power". That's an especific situation, under some especific conditions.

Of course, you could think that becouse the same rules that aply for you don't aply to women, then women are in charge, but that's not true. You are held to a set of rules that aply to men becouse you are playing against men, not women.

You are competing against men in dating, and if you win you get sex. And in the work market you win yo get money. And in sports you get fame. And in a battle you get time to live.

Men compete with men, not with women. We are not afraid of women so we don't need "rules" for them, thus the idea that they are "in charge", and we tell them they are in charge to make them feel better.

You can see it everywhere. Throughout history, it was MEN who were obsessed with women in various ways. Even the patriarchy was just an attempt to control women and female sexuality.

Women on the other hand don't care at all about most men and rightly so, as most men have nothing to offer to women. I think our ancestors understood that, that's why they deliberately set up the patriarchy in order to force women to mate with low value males.

Nowadays though, the patriarchy is becoming weaker and weaker. More and more women are financially independent and realize that they don't need the average male at all. In fact, many women would be better off single than with a low tier man.
