Ladies, I've had an epiphany these past three weeks that I wanted to share with you.

Three weeks ago, I finally got a puppy after years of wanting one and ever since I did, I haven't felt anything for my boyfriend. Mind you, before the puppy bf and I were crazy about each other. I thought that it was because all of my energy was focused on the pup but after three weeks with him I've realized that the only truly valuable thing my boyfriend provided was being someone I could pour my love into.

Don't get me wrong he's not a bad guy. My pup made me realize that he's just... Okay. He's a medium value man. (Is that a thing?) Not terrible, no horrible red flags, good man, he's just...fine. Doesn't provide, doesn't make my life particularly easier, doesn't give me anything I can't give myself, doesn't make me feel happier than my dog does, etc.

So ladies, make sure you're not with someone just because you want something to give your affection to. Put that energy somewhere else.
