Oh god both the Indian men from india were NVM 💀 while the one indian woman they feature is clearly HVW. The difference between men and women in my country is alarming. And thanks to the arranged marriage system they have no motive to change. They can scroll through 100s of women and pick some naive early 20s girl their mommies can customise.

If you are indian woman living in india you are better off single.

Akshay is ... everything that women should avoid.

He said he doesn't want his wife to work because who will take care of the kids.

He only learnt to make his bed once he was abroad for university.

And the only dates he has been on are those that are a part of the arranged marriage process.

But I would love to see what others have to say.

E7 was my hands-down favorite— “Marriages Are Like Breaking Biscuits: Sima faces a challenge with single mother Rupam. A discovery about her match bothers Ankita. Vyasar frets over revealing his father’s past to Rashi.”

Sima is a much better matchmaker (in terms of really & deeply understanding people) than Gita; I enjoyed watching Ankita’s journey figuring out why Gita’s hot takes on women in marriage plus her lowkey shadiness in failing to disclose, rubbed Ankita so completely wrong, and she went back to working only with Sima.

I will ship Rashi and Vyasar so hard!

As an Indian this show makes me embarrassed. The Indian men, Akshay and Pradhyuman are walking red flags. I'm glad Akshay didn't end up with that girl at the end, the broke the engagement off. The show is pretty close to reality in India, women are constantly told that they have to "settle" and be the more "giving" one. Men on the other hand are either manchildren,narcissistic or entitled, with absolutely no redeeming qualities whatever. And the worst is that these people come from wealthy families and are well educated. Money doesn't equal class after all. 🤷

I’m only on episode 3 but I would want my money back if that matchmaker set me up with a 41 yr old “podcaster” who only recently moved out of his parent’s house.

Edit- and Vyaser is a gamer loser with no future plans and doesn’t deserve to be set up with these high earning women unless they are looking for a house husband. Vyaser was a gigantic manchild.

Ok so I have so many questions. Are face readers really a thing? Why didn’t the matchmaker bet vinyan more to see if he was ready for marriage. This is supposed to be a reputable service right?!?! Do you consider match makers to be a scam if you’ve grown up in that society? I’m so fascinated.
