In general caring about other humans is what society is built off of.

Men "don't care" about other men and plenty of them are larger and stronger then other men and they aren't murdering them right and left. Plenty of men feel no need to protect women or listen to them... and our culture keeps limping along.

I doubt the female population would even be large enough to speculate some form of “all females will be slaves,” fantasy. This means, mothers, daughters, and sisters — not just “women.” And also means; no public safety or public health "protections" (Buzzword) extended toward females — not just “physical protection (hardly needed in modern times).” What you are proposing is a human system where there is no habitual care extended toward "half the village" which means death of the village via no sustainability; (i.e., no functioning ethical system) in an eusocial species like homo sapiens. Not a single human society or culture from Bronze Age or early Iron Age to date, indigenous or otherwise, has survived this.

I reckon a drastically smaller female population (most committing suicide likely from chronically unmet needs, dying of disease/illnesses, never born/reduced births or simply being killed and/or murdered), and hardly enough to sustain human ecology, let alone be much of a “human world,” left. (Re: China, etc).

Society would collapse. How would it work if we didn’t want to protect each other as a civilization? I’m pretty sure losing all the women to rape, murder, and fires would be the end of civilization and eventually the human race.

Is this question for real - you really couldn’t figure out what would happen? You know women are required for the species to repopulate and keep existing, right?

What do you even mean if men decided to “not listen” to women? Like just ignore us as if we didn’t exist? Nothing could get done, considering you have to listen to women to even do anything in a mixed society, like if you go shopping and the cashier tells you the total, and you just ignore her, hard to do much.

Adult women who are self-proclaimed sTrOnG aNd iNdEpEnT are not entitled to any further protection than any other citizen, i.e. they should mostly be able to protect themselves and then rely on the police. This is already the world we live in. You can’t have both chivalry and feminism. I listen to my family and co-workers, but other than that I try to filter the opinions and concerns of these women out of my media consumption.

A lot of women have a presumption of immunity they aren't consciously aware of. Like, women complain they can't go down dark alleys at night because of men but like 90% of the people I've ever seen even try to go down a dark urban alley at night are usually women, and the men who've tried have near universally had worse happened to them.

Which is the thing I think OP is actually trying to get at. Men operate on a very different baseline assumption on who's willing to attack or victimize them and the fear a lot of women vocalize comes with the default assumption that they have a degree of protection that doesn't extend towards a specific situation.

The realistic answer is you see crimes with female victims shoot up radically and women as a group become more reserved and less outgoing.

We would stagnate technologically. With women being too vulnerable to go out into the world and work, they would all be stuck at home. Which means there wouldn't be a surplus of labor and therefore there would be no opportunities to innovate.

It would take us thousands of years to progress just like it did before there were laws against raping.
