This is a highly unacceptable thing to do to anyone, man or woman. I'm sure she would take it as a joke if she were helping you with something and you just kicked her full force in her genitals. I'm sure that would be hilarious. The double standards appall me but more worrying is that anyone would think that physically assaulting someone to that degree would be funny or acceptable in the slightest. I usually steer clear of trying to tell anyone what they should do when they don't ask for it, but if it were me I would very seriously consider these actions a deal breaker and grounds for a breakup. It's not just the double standard at play here but her blatant disregard for you as a person. I mean even when guys horse around with each other they aren't usually kicking each other in the nuts at full force till someone pukes. At some point it passes the threshold for assault and I'm sure she passed that threshold with you. Not even including the fact that it was an assault on your own genitals.

Something similar happened to me.

I had a previous girlfriend who hurt me by accident. I won't say specifically how (it did not involve sex, we were fully clothed), and it was definitely an accident on her part, not deliberate. I didn't throw up like you did, but I was doubled over and crying from the pain.

She started laughing at me.

I couldn't believe it! When I could speak again I checked that she did realise I wasn't joking (she did) and that she knew, even though it was an accident, she had fucking hurt me seriously?

She thought that was hilarious too and continued laughing.

Up until that point I thought we had a normal, loving relationship, that she wasn't a psychopath and that she'd empathise when I got hurt. You know, like a normal person would. Apparently not.

I should have left her on the spot, but foolishly didn't. We broke up less than 6 months later for unrelated reasons.

OP: don't make the same mistake as me. Get away from this woman before it escalates and she hurts you even worse the next time.

I am not in US so i'll tell you about our "tradition" regarding this

In my childhood: its ok among girl-girl, it's ok among boy-boy. BUT boys were taught that it's not ok to hit each other in balls, fight two and more against one, kick the one who has already fallen on the ground. It's unfair. Girls had no that rules. So when girls grow older there could be serious and dirty (no rules) fights if girls fought. Boys/Men did follow the rules as otherwise they will be disgraced by other males.

Now: no rules for girls and women - they can hit a man in balls, head whatever. And there is notion that they can't be punched but THEY can do it. There are remains of old street fighting for boys and men... But they are slowly disappearing.

So we have stupid situation: if any female attack my husband he can barely protect himself (and he is in hand-to[hand-fighting for more that 15 years), he can block her - but again - if hurt this crazy bitch will cry for abuse. So in this situation my trained husband will have to call me for me to put a crazy women at the her place....

I remember when i picked up my elder from kindergarten and heard that teacher was telling a boy that "it's forbidden for boys to hit a girl!" so i asked "So you mean that girl can hit a boy?". She was confused - "no, no! Nobody can hit anybody!" So why they keep telling something different?

Injuring fools is a cornerstone of some humor, though I wouldn't be surprised if the fools were mostly depicted as men. I can't quite remember any comedy where a woman was hit whenever she did anything foolish. But I have seen comedies where men have been hit for being idiots as well as where men have been hit solely for "humorous effect." Like a woman would slap a man for staring at someone, but then slap him again simply because "she felt like it" or simply "for good measure."

It's interesting when the genders are reversed. Imagine a woman pushing a man away from a sink because he can't cook a chicken correctly. Such action might be a popular comedic scene. Yet a woman who gets pushed aside by a man, when she can't fix a plumbing issue, is not a humorous scene but rather can be reported as domestic violence.

I'm happy to be single: I don't have to worry about such attacks.

Well in a lot of cases a good nutshot is hilarious. But not in this case I'd say. In fact when I was Camp Chairman of a Union in a logging camp I got a call from the Woods Foreman he was coming out to talk to me. I'm a roadbuilding excavator operator so I was wondering what was up. Seems one of younger guys was squatting down filing his saw when the loader operator came behind him and thought it was funny to do a goal worthy kick at the exposed low hanging fruit as a "joke". Young guy was off hurt for a LONG time eventually had to be retrained for another job entirely, loader operator was fired and never admitted he did anything wrong. Said he just 'tapped" lightly. Luckily had a witness said he wound up like field goal kicker. One of the worst things was actually the young guy was his nephew so I think family gatherings were a bit strained after that. So you lucked because if she'd had boots or outdoor footwear on you may have had some really long term serious injuries.

Without knowing the full relationship if this is an isolated incident and she's genuinely apologetic then just accept her apology.
