As a parent (father of 2) and speaking from experience, I want my children to grow up to be good, honest, hardworking adults. Man I hate when people block spots, I thought these were my old neighbors for a second until I saw it’s BK.

Next to my old apartment there was a fire hydrant with enough space to fit two cars in front. These two cunts that lived next door would play musical chairs with their two cars every day by using one car to block both spots then pull up a bit when the other one would get home.

One day some dude with a smart car parked right up in there and I fucking loved it, watched them standing around for like 15 minutes debating what to do but they had no choice and had to look for parking elsewhere.

Man one time I was trying to find parking in the southern end of Bensonhurst by this Italian restaurant and had just as much trouble. It's awful. I was backing into a spot and a car behind me swung into it even though it's a spot you can only really park by parallel parking. Four guidos got out of the car and started walking over to my car to intimidate me, I guess. I just pulled away. You can do what this guy did, yes, or just take the L and save an hour of your life. Moral of the story: parking in south BK sucks.

Wow the cops in NYC will come out over a dispute over a parking spot?! My ex literally abducted my child from me across the street from his school and refused to let me see him for 3 months. I called the police and they transferred me to someones voicemail. I went to the local police and sheriffs stations, and they told me that I needed to hire a lawyer because it was a civil matter. They refused to even send an officer out to make a report that I could use as evidence in a civil trial. It must be a different world up there!!!

As a driver in NYC it fucking sucks getting a parking place, because of the ridiculous amounts of peoples and cars out in the streets.

However, if I was with my girlfriend or any family member and we are on our way to an even and happen to park a little far away, but happened to find parking far away much closer to our destination, best believe I’m gonna tell one of them to hold it as I go and get my car. Yea it’s illegal like the Sgt said but it happens all the time in NYC. Like double parking is illegal but everyone does it.
