She does have a point tho. Men are different from women. They do seem to have a higher proclivity for violence. Men also tend to be more industrious, more independent, stronger, etc. Men are also worth more as workers. We are responsible for nearly every major discovery/invention.

My point is that it's a mixed bag. Higher male variability is an evolutionary strategy that leads almost all geniuses and captains of industry to be male, while also resulting in the same trend on the other side of the spectrum- where the people with drastically low IQs also tend to be male.

The problem I have with this is the assertion that terrorists are "not really Muslim" it's so fucking stupid and misses the legitimate point that could be made -- which is that they are Muslim, they just interpret the book in a way thy fits their agenda. All religious people are fundamentally hypocrites. The way they interpret their books depends on what their political agenda already is. If that weren't true and Islam is actually just really naturally violent then the millions of Muslims in the United States would be constantly committing acts of terrorism. Instead it's literally almost never - the terrorists come from war torn poor areas where extremism thrives. So yes they are really Muslim it's just that religion has no consistency. Literally nobody actually obeys their own books they just pick and choose what works for them like a salad bar and in peaceful prosperous areas of the world secularism dominates religion and forces it to be tamed. And secularism dominates because of peace and prosperity which encourages educated populace.

According to this, out of 86 mass shootings in the US between 1982 and 2017, 83 have been perpetrated by men. Granted they're not all terrorism as terrorism is usually politically motivated but a lot of recent mass murders/shootings have been, either by white (usually Christian) or Muslim men.

If we're speaking globally that number would probably be different but it's harder to find solid statistics on that.

So most men aren't mass murderers but most mass murderers are men. So why is that?
