It seems that the general opinion is that guys in their late 20s that are not pursuing a relationship are considered immature or just jerks that wants to have fun without taking any responsibility. What a lot of people (in particular women) fail to realise is that these men didn’t have any possibility to explore their sexuality when they were younger, for several reasons: not popular in high school/uni, introvert, late bloomer, little availability of sexually interested women (maybe pursuing older men), etc…Women values so little these experiences in the late 20s/early 30s cause they had plenty of those as teenagers or young adults. They could explore they sexuality freely, they could hang out with older men, they could experience pretty much any sort of sexual curiosity…but they expect men to just skip this part and be happy to have a monogamous LTR as soon as they get a little value in the sexual market and are able to find partners to have sex with. Generally speaking, even men that had some luck early on have way less experience than women of the same age. It’s sad to say, but in high school/uni, where career/education don’t matter and personality is still something not fully developed, looks (and popularity which is just a byproduct of looks) determine almost completely your success with girls. I cannot count how many times I ve been frowned upon on dating apps for being clear about just wanting something casual or an hookup. I was treated like some kind of sexual addicted psycho, while instead I just try to explore my sexuality and don’t have the understanding yet of what I’d be attracted to in a girl for a serious LTR/marriage.
