I was just wanting to make a post to see if anyone else has noticed this obsession. modern day men have with playing victim. Recently I was texting with this guy that seemed HV until there was a several hour stretch where I was super busy and couldnt respond back/check my phone. He texted me something like "I guess you're busy :(" Complete with frowny face. Keep in mind this is a man that I have not seen in several years, who randomly got back in touch with me, and now apparently expects me to jump into some text relationship with him and text him back within 10 minutes or he'll get depressed. it's not the end of the world but i literally felt my vagina dry up and recede into itself as it happened. To me it is so beta and pathetic how these men seem to have zero emotional regulation and pout/act like a victim as soon as the tiniest thing happens.

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this because it seems to me to be a trend with modern men. Men in the past really really wanted to seem strong, capable, and like a winner. Men now are completely fine with pouting and acting like a child over even the smallest things. I dont know if it's an emotional issue or immaturity or what, but it seems like a trend with men nowadays and it honestly gives me shades of Brian Laundrie acting like the abused victim during the police interview. Like if you enjoy playing the victim early on then what will you do after our first disagreement and everything? Just wanted to see what everyone else thought....
