Recently I went out on a date night with my husband to watch the movie promising young woman. We both really liked it. On our way back home he said, that’s a perfect test for a date, watch that movie with a potential partner and wait for their reaction, it must be completely telling. So I decided to tell my best friend about that idea, and she tried it. She was seeing someone that seemed great on paper so far. His reaction was, that he got upset about how bad men were portrayed in this movie, and started the song of “not all men”. That’s what he got from that movie. My bestie called me and thanked me, cause he was the kind of LVM, that was good in hiding it, until that movie and all the red flags came bursting out at once.
