the worst things men attirbute to women are their own projection:

she is going to die sad alone = that is what he is afraid of!
she's manipulative = men are the worst manipulators around. He is so afraid that a woman will do to him the same as he routinely does to women
gold-digger= if he could marry money, he would. he would not even care how the woman looked like. if she had money
trap him with a kid = men are the ones who want a kid , they are the ones trapping women with a kid
divorce-rape him and deprive him of his hard earned resources = just like he deprives her of her valuable time-resource through unpaid housework, child care, etc...
