Yes. If you listen to these men talk all they talk about is themselves. They'll admit they fuck their wife while she just lays there like she's dead, and then make that into a flaw with her rather than himself raping his wife. Any time I’ve stopped wanting sex in a relationship it’s because the guy is acting like a complete fuckwit, or a child expecting me to take care of them. You can’t treat a woman like she’s your mom and then expect her to want to have sex with you.

The other thing that bothers me about men wanting women to have sex even though they don’t want to is that it actually is painful to do so, which guys don’t realize or care about, they think the woman should just do it... like for a guy I think even if sex is bad it’s still pretty good but for a woman, bad sex is painful.

Honestly, accidentally coming across that sub at the age of 17 is one of the things that turned me off from having a relationship. When I lurked there it was like 90% men whining about their wife not having sex on command, but tbf last time I looked it seemed to have more women. Some of the posts I've read there in the past live in my head rent free because they were just that disgusting, I feel angry and violated even just remembering them, and sad for the women that had to suffer from their entitled husbands that posted there.

I would honestly rather die than have some disgusting degenerate boyfriend or husband who coerces me into unwanted sex (read: rape), and then runs to the internet to whine to internet strangers about how he's actually the victim. Want to know the truth? He started struggling with ED before he was 30. I was supportive, I said maybe it's stress, maybe eat a little better, maybe go to the doctor and see if something's wrong but don't beat yourself up about it, it happens. He would even lose his erection in the middle of sex. Now I know it's because he was a porn addict who beat off constantly but I didn't know that then.

Then I started getting blamed. It was my fault he would lose his erection or not be able to get hard. If he put his hand down on my hair during sex and pulled it and I said ow or tried to reposition it was "YOU RUINED IT! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO CRITICAL?!" It got to the point where I was afraid to do anything during sex, if I moved wrong, I ruined it. If I said I'd like to do something, that ruined it. Sex became extremely stressful for me. We went from having a great sex life to me completely dreading it. Because if I made the slightest "wrong" move, it was going to be a fight. He even went as far as to say my vagina was too acidic and burned him. The marks on his dick were from jerking off too much.

I have almost no sex drive now. And I used to have a very, very high drive. But he killed it. I have a boyfriend who has a low drive, we have sex maybe once a month but it's nice and I never stress out about it. I don't really ever want sex unless I'm with him and we're cuddling. I don't think I could ever have sex with a man now unless I was sure he cared about me. It's just too vulnerable of a position to put yourself in, they can do too much damage to you. My ex taught me that.

Some men think “low libido” is someone who doesn’t watch porn and masturbate 5 times a day (including at work) like themselves. They can’t get it up so they really only want blowjobs. I 100% agree with this.

When I was having sex with my live-in boyfriend at minimum four times a week he was posting to deadbedrooms (long story short, this was well before I found FDS, he gave off a million red flags and I was the biggest clown you’d ever meet.The relationship ended when I fled to a domestic violence shelter). Take everything you read there with a huge grain of salt. Most of them are probably getting sex more often than they say, they just don’t count it because it’s not the porny performative kinky shit they want, or she doesn’t initiate.

I honestly hate the deadbedrooms subreddit with a burning passion. My favorite part used to be when the girlfriends/fiancées/wives come on and share their side of the story to reveal that their boyfriends/fiancé’s/husbands are a bunch of selfish pricks who don’t help out around the home and still expect their lovers to be turned on. Well said! I have health problems, including hyperthyroidism which meant my libido practically disappeared. My ex knew this but he still coerced me into sex constantly. Then I started to resent him, as he wasn't supportive over my health problems and didn't help around the house. Of course I got all of the blame, even when I found him on dating and sex websites. I'm glad I'm away from him now. He has diabetes which he doesn't control. He can look forward to a limp dick in the next ten years.

The only times I lurked that sub was when I was the HL to my emotionally and eventually physically abusive partner (who was using sex as a weapon), or when I was the LL to my everyday male chauvinist partner who used other forms of abuse that he, to this day, will never acknowledge. His wife then commented that she had almost died giving birth a few weeks before and her husband was still asking her for sex.
