This angers me so much but is also so relatable. I feel like I need to do a post dedicated to the difference in men vs women in law school because most women are incredibly smart, driven and friendly/supportive (so hardworking and can actually network properly), while most men are whiny little rich boys from wealthy families who complain 24/7, always say inappropriate things that makes everyone hate them and they love to argue at the wrong times (like the guy’s email who can’t take No for an answer). They’re also little pansies that can’t take even the slightest of criticisms.

I’ve seen instagram influencers and models work way harder in law school than most men, yet these men often bully and roll their eyes at these women (like bro, she gets better marks than you and is actually LIKED by her cohort). It’s like the film Legally Blonde lol.

Oho, look at that, it's happening again, and it's so predictable. As a retired teacher, I relate SO MUCH to this. I can't tell you the times men asked me to proofread something, or write a letter of recommendation, or help with this, that, the other. NOTHING doing for free, or you pay for my time, and I charged double my union-based Los Angeles wages, around $75 an hour, or $150 for a one-hour/one-time fee. Scrotes HAAAAATED hearing that.

Wah wah wah, but you're a teeeeeaaacherrrr, you should be more kind, giving, friendly, helpful! My response: I am up to a point, during working hours. Off the clock? You pay and you pay big time, and I honestly don't want to work more after I've already worked all day long. When they saw I was serious, and nothing was going to happen unless they paid up, all interest would, of course, immediately wither and die. So super gross thinking they could get close to me, cuddle up, make a move on me while I performed a professional service. Vomit.

There’s so much entitlement in this one photo… her response wasn’t even a no, it was a “sure, at a later time.” But he just couuuuuuldn’t wait for the FREE response that he was going to get for FREE!!! Agreed but the sad truth is that women are still expected to put up with BS in traditional industries like law and finance, no matter what corporates might say. Else they're "difficult".

It's not changed because these industries are still male dominated, and males dislike "troublesome" women who have all these unpleasant encounters that they can't relate to or understand.

So, while in an ideal world, she should call him out, if she were my friend I'd advise her to tread cautiously to protect herself. Diversity and anti-misogynist actions usually mean just glorifying that one female partner or associate in their ranks

Oh my god. I've had women reach out to me before for an informational interview, usually we're connected in some way (same alma mater) and while I've never turned anyone down I can't imagine any of them would react like this if I did. I've also reached out to more experienced women in my field and sometimes get no response; I chalk it up to she's busy and move on. This man IS entitled and unhinged.
