In the past two days I’ve had my 16 yr old daughter tell me she despises boys and men. When I sheepishly tried to console her by saying “there are still a few good ones out there” she totally shot me down and said “NO mom, there’s not”. She’s extremely intelligent and I knew I had to stop arguing there even though there are a handful still but they won’t come in the full package most women look for. I feel so sorry for her generation and all the boys growing up with porn on tap. What does she have to look forward to? Certainly not a good, loving, respectful lover, breaks my heart.

Then I went down a rabbit hole on Reddit and ended up on the r/teenagers sub where there was a big discussion about porn usage. Most of the guys seemed absolutely proud of their porn addictions, denied it was a problem, said it was normal and healthy, and wanted to know what got each other off. The fact that one guy said that becoming addicted to porn age 11 had eventually led him to be into scat, piss and rape porn didn’t even phase them. It was a super long thread and by the end I just wanted off this planet.

Then today my bf opened up to me and said this guy he just met that was part of his sports community started recorded his feet and sweaty back and he got upset and asked him what the hell he was doing, the guy blatantly said he was going to put the videotape of my bf’s body on Fans only and make money. Now my bf is going to wait for that to show up then ruin this guy in front of the entire sport community that he is in, but he is also torn that he has to be seen in such a degrading light in the first place, presumably for the gay players of his sports sick desire to see his feet. I mean WTF. He really clung to me today. He isn’t part of this sick sexual sordidness that has completely overtaken and hypnotized the male gender. Even one of my oldest male friends has been making lewd comments to me via text lately and it’s made me sick to my stomach that he crossed that boundary with no apparent shame.

They can’t blame the lockdown, or women, or feminism, or the state of the world - they can only blame their weak selves and the choices they made to make porn, masturbation, degradation and exploitation of other humans the cornerstone of their existence. I for one wish they would keep it to themselves and not involve my daughter, myself and even my boyfriend in their sordidness. Ugh. Really just don’t know how much worse it’s gonna get but rest assured men will still continue to find crumbs about how women are just as bad (HA!) and continue their atrocious behavior. So gross.
