When men subscribe to the concept of "the wall" and say things like "the wall takes no prisoners", they are admitting that all women are set up to fail. They are admitting that a woman's value is based on a depreciating asset (her physical appearance), and that they dont have the REAL power like men do, because once a woman hits 30 (barely a decade into her adult life), she is no longer worth anything. This is usually followed up with "a mans value will just keep going up as he gets older", which is them admitting that a man's power trumps the "power" (or lack thereof) that women have. They KNOW that their social, political, and economic power (aka REAL power) is stronger than ours because theirs is evergreen and comes with actual societal influence.

Yet, somehow, the men who taunt women with comments about "the wall" are the same men saying that women arent oppressed and live life in "easy mode". In reality, they know that women are oppressed, they're just bitter that we have an easier time getting laid and have men pay for our dinners, which apparently negates the fact that were viewed as commodities with our value tied to a depreciating asset.

They are sexually frustrated and jealous that we can get laid easier than them, but fail to understand that women don't care about getting laid because we don't view it as a trophy like they do (and the fact that men view it as a commodity/trophy is sexist). They are thinking from a selfish point of view (per usual) and are projecting their wants and desires onto women assuming we want the same thing, and because we can get those things we must live life on "easy mode". What women REALLY want is to be respected on an intellectual/work ethic level and obtain social/political/economic power without having our worth be reduced to whether or not we are physically attractive because, as they are inadvertently admitting when they talk about "the wall", having your worth based on a depreciating asset isn't REAL POWER.
