I see criticisms of FDS saying that we don't "improve" ourselves or think about how to make the man happy.

We have been bombarded from day one about the importance of keeping a man. Movies, magazines, articles, books, podcasts, memes, parents, religion all force the narrative that we need to please our man to keep him around, that's it's our duty as women to make men happy. Most of the advice is sexual: suck him, fuck him, do anal, make your pussy tighter, wear lingerie, strip tease, threesomes, open marriages (for him).

But we can't forget about our domestic duties either: cook for him, clean for him, submit to him, raise his kids, entertain for him. We can't be shrill or emotional women, oh no we must be the Cool Girl. Don't nag, cry, annoy or get mad at him. Let him watch porn, don't be insecure! Let him play videogames for 8 hours a day, it's his hobby! Let him go out drinking with his boys till 3am whenever he wants!

Oh and be pretty while we do it! Shave/wax, wear makeup (but not too much!), workout, get a boob job, lipo, BBL, labiaplasty- you know what just spring for the whole mommy-makeover package (it includes vaginal rejuvenation😉).

(Sorry if that was annoying to read with all the links, I just want to make my point that man-pleasing advice is everywhere.)

If other women here want to talk about how to maintain a HV relationship I think it could be beneficial. NOT about cooking and cleaning for him, sucking his dick, being his personal porn star, buying him PS5s or any other pickme bullshit. Stuff like how to set aside quality couple time while maintaining a fulfilling personal life, how to effectively and fairly sort out disagreements and fights, how to support your partner without losing yourself, stuff that benefits BOTH partners not just the man. But that is not and will never be the main focus of FDS. This is a space for women to talk about what they want.
