I remember a long time ago this comedian, David So, said, "where tf did y'all get this idea that Asian women are submissive?" Asian men are hugely misogynistic. My Japanese PI straight up told me good luck finding work as a scientists with men who don’t hate women. My career field is dominated by Chinese men who view women as property. I went to a Japanese owned (not Korean owned, because many of them are) sushi restaurant in my hometown and the Japanese waiter wouldn’t even take my order from me. He asked my boyfriend what I wanted. Asian neckbeards are hardly better then American neckbeards.

During my last breakfast with my previous boyfriend, twice he, a 55-year-old man mentioned what if the common fantasy of a 50-year-old ogling a young Japanese woman was reversed and that she was ogling 50-year-old white dude. I wasn't fully awake but if I had been I would have said, "Dude you're not even 50 anymore." The struggle is real. My neighbor while living and working in South Korea was a white guy, and he had a thing for Asian women lol. I'm a Latina that would get asked all the time in Korea if I was Filipina ( I am also very petite). When my neighbor and I would hang out, I would always catch him checking me out. The weirdness doesn't end there, my neighbor eventually started dating a Korean woman he had met on a language application. When he started dating her he would ask me if he was making the right choice (he did that a couple of times) -- weird. He also use to talk about her physique, as if he was disappointed. I was this guy's friend, mind you, no strange ties to him at all. He also confided in me that he had rented a room with a prostitute in South Korea when he first started dating her...huhhhhh. And every time I would talk to him about a guy he always seemed displeased, distant, and disappointed and I wouldn't hear from him or see him for a while.

Oh right. He is married and has a child with the South Korean woman he met on the application.

Oh believe me. I know Japanese women. I've worked with them in my first job for a few years.
