Four years ago, #MeToo broke and feminists (rightfully) demanded that we investigate misdeeds committed by famous man towards women, and that those with credible accusations should not be supported by the industry, media, or audiences.

Fast forward to today - with the first significant accusation of female on male abuse among celebrities is being discussed (I cannot think of another example in my lifetime), suddenly all I hear is “I don’t care about the personal lives of celebrities,” and “what does this have to do with feminism?”

I cannot imagine how feminists will pivot back to “we can’t let this go unaddressed” when they inevitably decide to preside over the court of public opinion the next time a woman lobs an accusation at a man.
