I was so ready to buy this too . World War 2 to me is one of the most fascinating global historical events that have happened on our planet. A coworker of mine recommended I watch Band of Brothers which was fantastic and I've ALWAYS loved Battlefield games more than the Call Of Duty franchise. So COD WW2 didn't scratch my WW2 game itch the way I wanted it too.

This was gonna be a day one buy for me , I didn't like the trailer when I first saw it but I do love DICE and figured no game scratches my FPS itch like the Battlefieeld games do ....

Then that Motherfucker had to call the fans uneducated and EA had to tell me that as a fan they didn't care for my purchase.....

In a year where there were plenty of other games that would welcome my uneducated dollars and at least wouldn't be so damn rude about my preferences as a game that was a fucking mistake. Red Dead , Pokemon, Super Smash Bros, and Assassins creed have made it rather easy not to buy Battlefield V.... So I guess I took their advice I won't be buying that shit until it's used and on clearance.

EA won't see a dime from me on this purchase if I can avoid it. Fuckin idiots.

What they dont understand is that Battlefield was somewhat of a historical war simulator game, especially the earlier ones. Meaning that alot of guys who like playing these guys are also very intressted in the autenticity from said game. I remember very well some people where pissed off at one WW2 shooter because the gun sounds did not sound right, can you imagine if you simply put in stuff which was totally untrue with comparrison to history. Ofcourse the developer has every right to do with the game as they please, so pushing women in the front line or whatever is their choice, and they have a right to say that if this pissed you off you should not buy it. But the whole interpretation of the critique was wrong by EA. Alot of people just asked why is this in a war simulator since clearly women did not fight on the frontline, or where part of covert operations, or where the black french soldier treated like less (sure there was some rascism but not as bad as battlefield claims it to be). The same reaction would be if the allies had the famous german panzer tank (I'm not a WW2 expert so mabye they did have those one moment or time but in my understanding this was an excelent and feared tank by the allies used by the germans). So the question is about autenticity not about women black people or whatever. Then when they start spewing the real reason why they included women ofcourse is the left agenda, and then bascially calling their entire fanbase sexist for asking questions pertaining to the authenticity of the game. Really stupid that is the reason there sales fail. But this will probabbly be spun around and argued the sales fail cause of sexism, instead of stupid marketing.

I wonder when big game developers start to notice that their biggest costumer base are men who want to escape sometimes, meaning they want to leave this terrible feminized culture. Even the biggest simps and manginas will play this in their man cave to feel some sense of power and control. But if then you are being bossed around by yet another strong wymen then men say fuck it.

By the way I dont think many gamers have a problem with including women into a game, even female protagonists, however it should be either in a setting which is true to reality, or it must be set in alternate history or alternate world. Think about Wow for example i dont think anyone has ever explained that female characters are a strong as male characters. But then again common sense and rational thought seems far away this day and age.

I have bought every mainline Battlefield game and played with friends since 1942. I was excited for Battlefield 1 and it was my game of the year, even though it had issues. But this time?

EA called me a retard because I don't think this is historically accurate. Their marketing screwed up royally, and the guy dared us not to buy this. Well, I've got news: I wouldn't have bought it even if none of this had happened.

The truth is, BFV is a bad game. It is buggy, unstable almost like BF4 at launch, the mechanics aren't refined compared to BF1 and most importantly, content is severely lacking. This shouldn't be a full priced release.

I've already posted before regarding the wymyns in BFV on my previous (banned) account. People seem to always bring up the Soviet female pilots and snipers all the time. They were still a tiny minority compared to the males. Cucks @ DICE could've made single player stories about them, sure. But in Multiplayer? I was watching a video today by thequartering and he stated that game developers get up to a $1,000,000 or so bonus if they can get a metacritic rating above a certain score. BFV is actually pretty fun, and while it is in no way historically accurate to have bald, black, female Nazis, it doesn’t really ruin the game. Granted I haven’t and probably won’t play the campaign, so I’m basing all of this off of PvP. Hopefully EA will learn a valuable lesson for future marketing endeavors.
