Sorta just a rant, have cone to the realization that it is in fact a 100% truth that major Christian institutions have dumped any semblance of respect for the comman man.

I kept hearing it as a young guy from older married men. They told me about how the priest "counselors" were sort of advocating for injustice, unfair treatment, and even straight ignoring any of their own concerns.

I.hward it from many family friends, my dad, my cousin, some coworkers. As a kid I just assumed they were in fact the unruly guys, jaut being guys, that weren't beeing good to their wives.

Now as an adult who married in the Catholic church I have a deadset certainty as to why people are leaving it, especially young guys.

The church has a confused, outdated, lazy, and straight ridiculous "system" to not only "approve" marriages but also when it comes to counseling or any of those matters it's insanely biased.

It's pretty much the whole, men bad, woman victim. They ascribe to the notion of the woman doing bad things bc she had no choice, but men are to be "responsible", "lead" and be "the man".

What I see is the church wanting men to be a bunch of bucks who pretend thay are in charge.

I feel it now, that church is burning down fast, i won't get started on any other topics, but this is a very specific institutional error that the church is committed to. It makes no sense as it is clearly an injustice, at this point I'm not even sure if they belive anything they "preach".

I kinda want to hear from any of you guys out there who are Christians in any way, to get a feel for how your communities treat men in general.
