I think there will be a slow shift of men accepting the faux human interaction they pay for is just that, fake. AI will undoubtedly be able to create any manner one fantasy that men want to see/beat off to while being even more inexpensive. OF will not be able to compete against VR porn that can create any scenario they want to see in minutes.

Sidetrack kinda: There are a couple of instagram accounts that im guessing take real people and use ai to modify or recreate the pictures in a very realistic manner and then present them as a totally new person. These accounts have over 100k followers sometimes its baffling. Also the comment are always under the impression that the person is real

But while I agree that OF offers men the illusion of a relationship, I don’t think that means it will be immune to AI. It just means that the bots will become more and more sophisticated. Between ChatGPT, AI-generated images, and now video, someone could create a completely fabricated OF model that would automatically post photos and videos and interact with customers.

Right conclusion, wrong reason. You can already look at as much free porn as you could ever watch, any kind including illegal kinds, with a thirty second internet search. There is no reason to ever pay anyone for porn just because you think they're attractive when you can watch free porn of someone who looks similar to them in a couple of clicks. But it's not about that, it's about power and control, it's about thinking they're doing this thing for you specifically and they're reliant on your money. Free porn is so distant it might as well be computer generated to a lot of people, that's why they don't care if they're trafficked. Your interpretation of the OF product is fundamentally incorrect.

There are many ways simps can quid pro quo their way to unobtainably hot girls:

Go to cam model site.
Hire an escort.
Go to a strip club.

What OF offers that's different from the above is a persistent relationship. The other things are transactional instances with no continuity. OF is the poor man's version of a sugar daddy site. You're right that SORA by itself doesn't yet match OF even if it can produce realistic video. It does not yet offer the girlfriend aspect.
