Surprised to see this and had the very same experience. I really like that sub but it's not a debate sub, it's for lack of a better term, a circle jerk. A couple times I tried to point out instances of satire which were being taken with the utmost sincerity and got permabanhed for it. Luckily I appealed w/ my reasoning to prove I wasn't just trolling. They shortened my sentence to three months.

I think a point for men would be despite how stubborn some can be they'll mock and ridicule you but not throw you away (ie police and silence your free speech).

Being a woman is hard and women have developed to overcome that by cloistering with other women and rational or irrational, right or wrong, the attitude becomes very "you're either with us or against us, and playing devil's advocate" is being against us."

Its understandable how women got to this point.

Edit: I'll add the majority of criticisms made on that sub are legitimate and women have every right to be concerned over walking out at night, etc. We've all had experiences that have taught us better and that is hardly misandry

There's plenty of content there that is in no way satirical. I've posted screenshots up directly from earnest/angry idiots who frequent places like WAATGM or any of the various redpill ecosystems. Married red pill is a favorite because the dedication even purportedly married dudes have for misunderstanding women is borderline impressive.

The problem with r/NotHowGirlsWork is that these girls know damn well there's plenty of women who reinforce certain tropes and stereotypes that are the basis for why they exist in the 1st place.

Of course, certain men take it to the extreme and generalize all women that way which is wrong but there's a reason why those tropes exist in the 1st place. They didn't just come out of a vacuum.

r/NotHowGirlsWork takes things to the next extreme and sticks their heads in the sand when certain tropes get regurgitated and they act as if it's so uncommon that a man would have to be living in a parallel universe to believe it.

As with most things, the truth lies in the middle.

Same issue exists with r/exredpill and r/IncelTear. Of course, all 3 subs are correct that generalizing all women ala AWALT fashion is false and one of the Red Pill's worst takes.

But taking it to the other extreme and acting like these beliefs just came out of the blue and that those tropes just appeared out of the blue is also misleading. And they'll discredit anyone who claims that they've seen it first hand.

I’ve gotten a lot of downvotes on r/nothowgirlswork for telling the truth, such as:

The average penis is not, in fact, 4 inches erect.

Women do overwhelmingly prefer tall men.

Women commit domestic violence at similar rates to men.

The people on that sub tend to be just as misinformed as the guys they castigate and mock.

That's just hive mind sub for women who use anecdotal situations as the norm to discredit memes they find online that trigger them. I wouldn't worry about what they post on there. I will credit them for calling out misandry when necessary. Its TwoXChromosomes and AskWomen promote misandry more (the latter not as bad).

Edit: I'm typing this reply on my Amazon Fire and think its funny that this device does not recognize the word "misandry" and had me believe I was spelling it incorrectly. Smh.

It’s not misandry to point out the very real fact that women are typically weaker than men and going outside alone at night can be dangerous.

It is common sense for most women to avoid this.

If it is misandry to have this opinion then idk what to tell you considering men have tried to assault me a number of times at night.

In pre-reproductive women (aged 20–29, n = 679), increasing height related to decreasing maternal personality (lower importance of having children, lower maternal/broodiness) and decreasing reproductive ambition (fewer ideal number of children, older ideal own age to have first child). Increasing height also related to increasing career orientation (higher importance of having a career, and higher career competitiveness). In post-reproductive women (aged over 45, n = 541), increasing height related to decreased reproductive events (fewer children, had first child at older age) and increased career orientation. Results provide further support for previous studies that show physical masculinisation is associated with psychological masculinisation.
