So this is a experiment that starts off flawed because it's extremely personal.

What I'm constantly seeing on this sub is people that don't want to give a certain thing up because it's not worth it (for instance not wanting to get married because divorce rape) and then setting up requirements for that scenario under which they do want to give that thing up (if we marry young and divorce is banned), but the requirements aren't well received by the other party (we don't want to marry young).

After that, each party is called selfish and self-centered and not able to compromise.

But this isn't how IRL-compromises go. It's not one party deciding everything and you can take or leave it (and I know that I only targeted red pill with the example, but both parties do that here). It's a discussion.

Example: "I want marriage", "I only want marriage if we marry young.", "I don't wanna get married young" and then instead of the convo ending by thinking the other party is unreasonable...you move forward by giving up more to make marrying young appealing or you give up marriage if you get something else in return for that.

I would like to hold that discussion. Anyone up for it?

Offcourse...this is not going to work if we pretend to know what the other partner wants. Then we are doing more of the same old. So I prefer that we didn't do that and focus on what's being said.

Edit: since everyone is focussed on my example of marriage. Here are some other examples: Looks, attraction versus bodily autonomy. Is there something you'd be willing to get in order to give your partner some control of your looks? Hobbies? N-count? Having friends of the opposite gender? Social media bikini photos?

We often times have posts here with demands. Let's discuss the demands beyond marriage.
