I'm 27 and I've lived in some major US cities since graduating at 22 including Los Angeles and Miami. One thing that hit me right off the bat when I moved to some of these places was the middle-aged men dating very young women. Personally when I was young I traveled and lot and was in major public areas often with my parents and I remember adult looking men dating very young women as being a common dynamic in most places I visited. It really is true that men that are like 35-45 will very commonly date girls that are like 18-26 and I often see late 40s and even early 50s. I'm pretty good at roughly guessing people's ages. I think it's because of watching celebrities age. These men usually are just decent looking adult men, not necessarily rich or extremely attractive. I've seen lots of men in their 50s and even early or mid 60s with this kind of dynamic and I'm certain that it's becoming much more prevalent. The birth rate and marriage rate for men 45+ is creeping up and I think it's going to continue on this trend. I don't think society will function well with this dynamic and lifestyle proliferating.
