The more you have sex & the more people you have sex with, the better you get at sex. This is well-known.

Sure you can have sex with a single person a lot, but that's like cooking rice all your life - you might get great at rice cooking but you can't really call yourself a chef.

Similarly, pair bonding a lot increases your ability to pair bond. You get better at it with time and training.

What can damage your ability to pair bond? Probably breaking up with a lot of resentment. The problem is not the break-up: break ups and divorces are good things. The problem is the resentment you might get for the other person.

It's not really about how many people you loved or how many people you broke up with.

If you harbor hate and resentment for your exes, then yes you do become a bitter, resentful person. But that's not about the break-up, that's about how you reacted to it. If you show compassion and empathy, even for this person who might have hurt you, then you are doing great.

On the other hand, you don't need to pair bond or not pair bond to damage (or heal) your ability to pair bond. If you spend your time by yourself, ruminating about women (or men) being evil bitches, cultivating hate towards other people, you are actively hurting your ability to pair bond.

Writing hateful or resentful messages here (or on others black/red/bluepill spaces) only trains you for hate and resentment. You are priming your brain to not be able to love and bond and be happy with someone else.

Buddhists are very loving people. This is because we train loving-kindness meditation every single day. Love is something you can train yourself to feel, but so is hate, resentment and bitterness.

So the choice is yours. Do you want to heal and feel in harmony with the people around you, or do you want to lock yourself in a toxic cage of your own making?

Life is short, choose the right thing.
