I was a virgin until I was 21, so not quite as long. I was sadder about not having a girlfriend and finding love before then than I was about not having sex, as the idea of just having sex with a woman who I had no feelings for did not seem very fulfilling to me.

27 years old here, still a virgin and zero relationship experience.

I do feel sad and lonely sometimes, but at the same time, all this years alone and living alone for a few years allowed for a lot of introspection, moments of insight about myself, my life, etc... I came to the realization that, due to my looks and personality, loneliness is just another fact of life I have to come to terms with. I'm fully aware that relationships aren't my thing but that doesn't keep me from feeling bad about it.

No offense, but this is probably the most lame and most frustrating reason as to why someone hasn't been laid. It almost seems like you're allowing yourself to being held prisoner by some quack and outdated religious notions surrounding sex when there's no real reason to.

It just makes me hard to sympathize with people who are unhappily virgins because of what they themselves impose upon themselves by adhering to some religious belief.

Virgin until I was 23. Eventually just lost it to a friend because I felt like it was about time to cross it off the list. It wasn’t unpleasant or anything but definitely seemed way over hyped. Didn’t bother pursuing sex much afterwards.

I never felt like I was missing out. I don’t like being pressured or rushed to conform to other people’s expectations, and most of the pressures I was under to have sex were external, not internal.

As I’ve matured, I’ve realized that I don’t really get caught up in the drama most people do, so being more cautious to only have sex with people that don’t complicate my life has long-run worked out for me. Waiting for marriage might do the same for you, who knows.

I lost my virginity about 6 months after I turned 24. It started by religious choice, especially also dating a fellow virgin in college. We unfortunately broke up, moved on, still never having had sex. From then on it was still partly religious partly habit. I definitely had that feeling of missing out.

Slowly it became entirely a choice for me. Religion might not be involved, but to me it was still a big step I didn’t want to take lightly.

I had a conversation with a girl I barely knew about it, but already had enjoyed her company very much. She offered to take my virginity that evening, and take it she did. We had sex once or twice after, but just stayed friends, and are still very close to this day.

Sex is still something I take somewhat seriously, and I don’t try and date to fuck. I’m glad I waited until I was good and ready. I’ve had no regrets in my current sex life, but if I eventually had married someone and lost it with them, I think I still would have liked that a lot.

Never attempted to date or pursue sex (Dismissed Marriage when introduced to the concept). As in never really bothered even if a woman gave me her number.
Been offered a blow job in HS on the bus, but turned it down.
Have always had women interested in me or see that women look at me due to having secondary masculine traits and apparently I don't look like a man without experience nor act like it somehow.
Never really believed in love or romance (Matter of fact, romance made me uneasy seeing it in movies).
Don't really get lonely since I've never prioritized relationships/women. I got more lonely back in HS after becoming popular.
Never attended college so I can't relate to those who were lacking experience being around that demographic.
I have a stronger urge to rub/grope/massage a woman down, and fuck her than kissing/making out, and since I don't really believe in romance/love it doesn't bother me seeing people exhibiting that kind of behavior (I actually like seeing it since it's not common to see).

Took me until 24 to actually discover great sex. Felt way different than the ONS or the extremely casual stuff that I had experienced. It felt so different that I kind of felt like I was a virgin, in the sense of previously being ignorant of the sensations that I was meant to feel.
