My friend was dating one girl which was basically was just using him for free food, once they went to restaurant (quite an expensive one considering he’s just a university student) they ordered some food and soon after the waiter came again and said that they look like a lovely couple and if they will order something else, well... bitch had enough audacity to say “ew no” and ordered something else while my friend was in a light shock, soon after waiter asked him if we would like to order something to which he responded with “yeah, a separate check please”, paid for HIS food and left.

Soon after he came back with pizza & booze (as an apology I guess) and soon after we called in few of our friends and started playing DnD

We even had sex at my apartment a few times so I thought things were going well. I genuinely loved the girl we dated for 4 years and getting back with her felt normal. I asked her why she did this and she just said that we’re friends and we’ll eventually get into relationship That I’ll just have to wait til they break up, yeah no. Some women are so oblivious as well as to the trouble it can cause.

I have been out with female friends. Guy approaches and asks is this your brother, they say oh no just a friend. Then the guy hits on them.

Ends in an argument andhaving to point out what was the harm in saying we were together that night, you won't see that asshole again.

Saying we arent together is seen as an open invite to hit on you because you admitted to being single.

Have had other female friends with boyfriends say oh no this is my boyfriend instead and it usually shuts it down straight away.

I have done it when I have been hit on my women I am not interested in or I am out with female friends. I just say I am with them tonight and it stops any more awkward encounters.

Oh I have a story for you my fellow redditors. When I was in college, I kinda had a thing for this girl who was cute but she was dating my buddy(also roommate) so I never approached her in a romantic way. She used my buddy for food and expensive things and would lead him on always. She was already double dating by that time (oh yeah my buddy was the second) but we didn't know by that time. After a few months, once my buddy was staying at her place for diwali and I called him for something. She picked up the phone and we got to talking. I was already interested in another girl by that time. I thought she would help me get a date with her. I told her the same and she said " You? With her? Really? Do you look at yourself at all?" I was so hurt, I wanted to escape the embarrassment so I said I was kidding. Forwarding a few weeks, It was our college fest and my buddy was sick so he didn't come to the fest. She was all alone looking for someone to score some free food and stuff. I just entered the college and was walking in with a friend. She found me and I saw this nasty grin on her face when she was approaching me. I knew she would come ask me to get her something to eat. I told my friend the same thing before hand. She came towards me and said " Hey, can you get me an ice-cream?" My friend was shocked and he took my back and said " don't you have any shame? Don't you have money to buy an ice-cream for yourself?" I also said a straight "No!" and my friend and I left to check out the fest. Later I heard from an other friend that she left the fest very soon as someone spilled a plate of curry on her. Haha! I was so happy.

I was always under the impression that this sub was about posting proof of actual situations where women get denied the opportunity to get away with something solely due to the fact that they are women.
