I taught high school for a few years and this clip was used several years ago in training sessions for several reasons.

As I understand it, the classroom is a special qualifications class for at-risk students (students failing regular classes, students who have had too many unexcused absences, and students who need reinforcement in study skills). The young woman in the hoody is there because (if memory serves--the clip is at least 5 years old if not older) she missed classes due to a family crisis. She had to be there and complete work in order to advance to the next grade (which she wanted to do).

The girls dancing and the guy recording are there because they slack off in regular class and have discipline issues. This began when the teacher left the room for several minutes (which is a BIG no-no in these classrooms) and chaos ensued.

We used this video to create a separate risk-mitigation program at our school and to train special education teachers who deal with EC/ODD cases. It was also used to illustrate the fact that girls are often instigators of violence in the classroom behind closed doors (this is a real problem that was gaining traction in education circles around 2015 but was halted because it conflicted with the standard narrative that boys are the miscreants--in truth, the data suggest girls are the trouble makers and boys encourage it or enable it).

If you pause the video around the time of the shove, you can see that the girl in the hoodie is, in fact, a girl.

I went to elementary and middle school in Brooklyn. This reminds me of that. Some students just had no discipline at home because there was no father figure in their lives. At school, they would literally torment teachers, some to the point of tears. It was truly disturbing to watch the next thugs/criminals grow up right before you.
