Namely, why is it seen as such a bad thing? It seems like much of this forum is geared at getting women to fight their hypergamy and "settle for mr. good enough" and what I want to know is why this is. I agree with nearly everything here but I just do not see hypergamy as a bad thing. I actually see it as a good one because it encourages self improvement in both sexes. Men pushing to be in that " top 20%" women pushing to be good enough women to EARN that "top 20%" eventually everyone might improve so far in that they're all at that level. Now obviously I see cheating as a bad thing, I never have and never would cheat. I also see marriage as a lifetime commitment. But I think there'd be a lot less divorce if women followed their hypergamy instead of settling. Thoughts?
