What's the best advice to single women that you've ever read, seen, heard or had given to you?

I'm not quite sure how to phrase this so bear with me...

I'm looking for somewhere/something where I can find the same kind of close knit community as a church. I'm an atheist so any kind of religious community is out of the question. We have the Women's Institute which is where groups of women get together to sew/make jam/do various activities together but from what I gather it's mostly over 60s and I'm 23... I hope this makes sense but I figured seeing as most of you ladies have more life experience than me you might be able to make a suggestion :)

Regarding housekeeping,

Who has a tip for prevention or staying on top of all the little whisker hairs that go all over the bathroom counter when your man shaves??? Prevention would be better but gosh it seems like a lost cause sometimes.

How do you tell your SO that you think he's looking particularly awesome that day? I was saying 'handsome' for a bit but then I heard his mother call him that and almost barfed in my mouth. So I need something else! So far I've used "sexy" and "hot" but it's not always sexual.

I got my first real medical assistant job with insurance benefits! How do I fit in at work?

There are two middle aged women, one has been training me and I think they both like me but are generally floating on different tasks. There are 2 girls around my age and they are friends. I think one of them doesn't like me, but I'm confident we can at least work together. I think I'm only friends with that guy who likes to joke around, scare people, and gets along with everybody.

IDK, I just don't want to be that stereotype of a girl who doesn't have girl friends but I'm shy.

Is gracefully accepting offers from others always the right thing to do? I live in a culture where people ask to do this or offer help regardless of how they really feel, just to keep up appearances or to look good. Accepting an offer immediately can be judged as being greedy/lazy/etc. How should I manage the situation in this case? Even those who are unwilling tend to be quite pushy especially if there is an audience, so it feels like I'm in a tight spot.

It'd be amazing if you could share your experience if you've encountered something like that before! The social default is for both parties to refuse and insist/resist until the intended recipient gives in. Being graceful after doing that can be slightly strange.
