Yeah, my old campus required this as well. It's a fucking joke, but ridiculously easy as long as you don't take it seriously. There was one part of Haven where we had to choose the "appropriate" dialogue and help a cast of "college students" make "good decisions." It was retarded--the conversations we had to sit through don't happen in real life, and were probably written by an autistic Tumblr omega.

But you're right--that this is a requirement is distasteful. Wasn't there a movement to teach women how to avoid being raped that actually produced results somewhere?

My eyes couldn’t focus. A sense of peace poured through me; forgiving all that had been done. I’d be free soon, I thought. I smiled and hoped at this very moment Steve and Max were smiling with me, feeling more alive now than ever before.

How am I supposed to know that she's drunk? Carry a breathalizer on me at all times? At exactly what BAC level does one go from being ok to consent and too intoxicated to consent? People have different tolerances to alcohol, so that isn't very useful. Seems completely subjective to me. Even if I could tell how subjectively intoxicated she is, how am I supposed to know where exactly the line is that she's "too drunk" to consent and ok to consent.

Suppose your partner is too intoxicated to consent but they're on another drug besides alcohol that you have no way of measuring their intoxication level. How are you supposed to know that she's too intoxicated to consent if she's on some drug you've never even witnessed someone being on before? Does that mean you rape her? Suppose you're both "too intoxicated to consent." Does that mean you both rape each other and you both go to jail? Or do they somehow magically cancel out?

EDIT: Please somebody answer these questions. I'm scared that I will accidentally rape a girl who I thought was consenting. According to this scary definition of rape.

But... I'm amazed, how can in the USA be so many male students. What is the ratio? 40 (male)/60 (female)? I'm from an European country where universities don't push that rape culture bullshit and we have here 30/70 ratio in universities/colleges. If I remember correctly, we have 72% females overall. We have very feminine school system from grade 1.

So I'm amazed why male American students don't avoid higher education more, because it is toxic place for men. But if I remember correctly - in the USA male/female gap in higher education is increasing slowly? The fruits of feminist policies.

But I tell you, if in the future the USA is in the point where 70% students are female - nobody gives a shit. In my country it is so. Ok, they give - more man shaming and whining how our men are not good enough for women in the MSM.

Y'know, I've always disliked the education system due to the fact that it just shoves (mostly) unnecessary information down your throat and judges you on how well you retain it with the goal of turning you into the perfect societal cog. Now that this is "knowledge" is a requirement, my disinterest has turned into disdain.

If I decide to have kids, I can see myself discouraging them from post secondary education. Realistically in this day and age, the line from Good Will Hunting applies more than ever. "You spent thousands of dollars on an education you could have got for $1.50 at the local library." You can add "without being brainwashed" to that sentence for the modern era.

It's scary that society is actively working to diminish the capability of people. Not even just men. This kind of action limits women's potential as well. All it does is misdirect attention to virtually non-existent issues to remove focus from personal improvement, which would be the real determinant of a productive life.
