A girl who spends inordinate mental and physical energy on her looks is rarely fat. Haven't read the article yet, but as a dude who has dated a woman with an eating disorder: Never again.

It may be nice to fuck someone who has a great bod, but there are major downsides:

1) Bitch is always whining about food

2) Has major underlying issues along with the eating disorder (self esteem, anxiety, etc)

3) Resents you for being able to eat what you want and still looking good

4) Ultimately is crazy - don't stick your dick in crazy, or if you do, don't expect it to last

I'm now dating someone who has (relatively) healthy eating habits. I'd much rather date the girl who can enjoy a real meal with me, doesn't bitch about food all the time, and generally likes herself but has a soft tummy than the rail thin one who hates herself...and me by extension. Remember, people can only love you as much as they love themselves, and they can only accept you if they can accept themselves. Chicks with eating disorders fit neither of these criteria.

I had some severely disordered eating in my early twenties, anorexia nervosa. Though I am now a normal/healthy weight (5'7", 135 lbs.), I am still ~~occasionally~~ very critical of my appearance. ROK is spot on.
