Oh trust me if you are the type of person who is not so comfortable with direct confrontation, its going to blow up in your face.

But I wouldnt let that deter you if I were you.

If you need some leverage, just lie and say that one of your exes was also heavily into social media and ended up cheating or something because of it and you had to end the relationship as a result.

And that now, because if it you are salty towards social media, and that is very unlikely to change. And that now you dont think that you can date someone who uses social media like that.

Be tactful and calm but make it clear that you arent willing to compromise on this one, at all.

No, it needs to look like this, "look I cant stay with you if you are going to continue to do x, y, or z. I'm sorry I but its just where I stand". You want to almost seem sad when you say it. As if you are picturing leaving her because she didnt quit the social media and the thought of it all is just disappointing.
