I'll hear people casually mention 'so I met them at a party, one thing led to another and half an hour later I was raw dogging her in an alleyway'. Maybe not always that intense, but it seems like sex is something that should naturally proceed attraction between two people - for many people it does, but it never just happens for me. It always feels like I'm having to consciously think and strategise, calibrate where to touch her and what bullshit to whisper into her ear.

If I wait for things to just happen and hope that our chemistry alone will lead us to hooking up and then fucking, without me putting in the forethought, It's not going to happen.

Well there was one time whilst staying in a mixed dorm, drunk, with a cute Italian girl where I honestly can't really remember putting conscious effort into flirting, but we ended up having sex - that's the only time I could describe it that way. And I was so drunk I couldn't even stay hard surprise surprise.

Is it just something girls tell themselves to abdicate the social stigma of having sex?

Or does it all feel more natural as you improve your game?
