Maybe you looked different from your photos?
Anyway, don't overthink this. She sounds like a weirdo.
[–]diamxnds 64 points65 points66 points 4 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
Maybe? Two of them I took less than a week ago, I came to the club and she was dancing with like 3 different dudes before I approached. Idk I’m done with club girls. Just good for hookups.
[–]MaltaPepe 116 points117 points118 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
you said;she was dancing with like 3 different dudes . next time just disappear. also discos/clubs are a horrendous place for a date. even the cemetery is better or a dumpsite
[–]Keravnos- 38 points39 points40 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
unironicaly a walk in some cemeteries isnt a bad idea, some european cemeteries are beautiful
[–]artofmajic 27 points28 points29 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

😂 Please stop calling clubs or nightclubs “discos”. You sound like my 87 year old grandfather that literally asked if “I went to a disco” when I told him I went to Vegas the other week. Unless your 87 years old of course…then proceed with that lingo
[–]papasmurf101 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Discotechs are what nightclubs are called in most of the world.
[–]Woujo 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
ed. Idk I’m done with club girls. Just good for hookups.
No its stupid to generalize a huge group of people based on one interaction. A lot of people go to clubs.
I feel like you are leaving something out of this story. Who goes on a date to a club? If you are telling the truth, it looks like you just ran into a shit head.
[–]revente 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Doesn't sound like a gf material.
[–]theKnightWatchman44 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Guarantee she looks different from her photos, and even more so when she's not caked in make-up
[–]revente -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sure
[–]flusia 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sounds like she was wasted and already getting the attention she wanted. This isn’t a reflection on you, nor is it the norm as far as how humans behave. Maybe try and have some meaningful convos before meeting someone ?
[–]The_Sir_Galahad 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is all you need to know. Why would you even want a gutter rat like that?
[–]lildolphinsteaks 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]BingQiiLing 52 points53 points54 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Take it as a blessing and a sign brother.
You don’t need to impress someone who clearly doesn’t deserve your respect. She’s an asshole.
[–]Kennymacdougall 90 points91 points92 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
She was just playing games. Don't let it get to you.
[–]Legal_Development 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Lmao! What kind of games is that?
[–]elcammi 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Silly “try (harder) to get me“ games that silly girls play. DGAS on it, play this game, too, and simply ignore her, have fun and let her see you having fun without her. Shouldn't take too long until the game turns and she hits on you...
[–]Night_Hawk1 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This she's looking to see if you'll chase. Took a girl to a arcade. We shot basketball hoops and I lost. She says "wow you're lame I'm leaving" and walks away. I knew she was playing games so I kept shooting hoops and saw her keeping me in the corner of her eye as she walked away. Eventually she turned around and came smiling back and put her arm around mine. If I had chased she would have maintained the frame and walked out the door with me pleading to have her come back. Just continue doing you and having fun and she will choose to either join your frame or lose out the position to another girl. That's YOUR choice not hers.
[–]Bforbrilliantt 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah I wouldn't have spotted that as a game if I hadn't read anything on the Internet about chasing, neediness, cat and string. Though I never thought that "niceness" and "chasing her around" made any attraction either, anymore than a guy taking me to a fancy dinner in a bugatti veyron turns me gay. I would have thought I'm the same level of handsome ness, whether I follow her to the door or stay. Though I probably would have made the right decision simply by thinking "she's probably not gonna like me anyway and she's just looking for an excuse to leave, unless she's got enough options she can find a guy that's my exact clone but slightly better at arcade games". And then you can have a different girl who chooses to ONLY go for the guys who say "wait hold up!" And then you think damn the Internet was wrong I wasn't "needy" enough. Although at least they excuse themselves from your life.

WE GO JIMMMMM
[–]NiNj4_C0W5L4Pr 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
First, you did AWESOME! You got a match & set up a meet & showed up. That's some MAN SHIT, right there! Second, she didn't know anything about you and walked away. That right there is her loss! She missed out on the opportunity to date a great man. You should pity her and feel elated that you not only dodged a bullet, but you also got one poser out of the way onto your true path to happiness. Yes, we all have an idea of how we want someone to look before we date them, but we almost always leave personality to the back burner. This woman had no integrity and piss-poor upbringing. You wouldn't want to date her anyways so it makes ZERO sense to lament over her. Don't let it phase you; it wasn't personal! (She never knew anything about you so it never was personal).
Keep doing what you're doing because there will be a woman who turns around, sees you and will beam a great big smile and be overjoyed to see you walking up! That is what you deserve. Always remember that. Anything less is a waste of your time. You are unphased on your quest to meet a wonderful woman that deserves your time.
[–]DeliberatelyInsane 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Plot twist, the three dudes were also the guys she met on bumble and decided to have an audition. Sorry mate, you don’t get the part.
[–]ryandiy 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's why she told him to meet her at the club. Probably gave him the exact time, too.
OP: next time, you lead the situation. Don't let her lead or you'll regret it.
[–]MillennialWBrain94 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Straighten out your posture walk w/slightly slower than usual pace, chin up and avoid looking around don’t be afraid to take up space Small changes I made in my every day life that boosted my confidence over time
[–]salutcemoi 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think the walking slower thing works for me because it gives more time for girls to notice me, as opposed to walking fast (which is how I naturally walk) when I walk by people like a blur
[–]sidbunch6 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Probably didn't look enough like your photo? I'M guessing that's the case.
I tend to use photos that don't 'do me any favours' if that makes sense lol. There's just no point in trying to catfish with photos where you look way better than you do in real life. If you then meet her and she's not attracted to how you look (like how she was in your profile pic) it's just gonna be a waste of time
Not saying that that's what you done or that that was necessarily the reason for her weird reaction, but just putting it out there
She sounds like a weirdo anyway, so don't worry about it.
[–]JanetInSC1234 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
My niece was using her best glamour shots on a dating site and I told her to put up normal photographs. When you meet someone in real life, you want him to think you look BETTER than your pictures.
[–]cobraCL 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I absolutely agree here. Zero filters, light makeup, candid shots. I would be morified if someone were inwardly 'disappointed' with how I looked IRL.
[–]no_not_this 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
The filters are absolutely insane. 90 percent of women I have met from old look 2 points lower than their photos.
[–]cobraCL 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's surreal! I understand a bit of makeup and a good outfit but filters can make someone look like a totally different person.
That sucks, big time!
[–]JanetInSC1234 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Me too.
[–]WeirdLaw 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There are many possibilities, don't overthink it.
A tip to increase self confidence: tell yourself no matter what happens you are going to be okay.
[–]CompetitionFair7686 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If you talk with women waiting for their approval then you will always be insecure.
Confidence comes when you realise that their approval means nothing, and that you should not try to seek it.
The only approval that matters is the one you give yourself for doing what you want and congratulating yourself for trying.
[–]piliponful 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ahahahahhaha, braaaaffff, that's cruel, ahah. But don't let it bother you. I think it's just a funny story for beers with friends
[–]depth_charge_ 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Take it as a lesson - do not meet up at a club with some random online chick. They have too much power there
[–]floppyjabjab 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
did you akwardly walked to say hi or you just straight up walked up and be like "Chloe right?" cause IN a bar those 2 comes off bery differently when someone you never met is waiting for you. If she recognised you, she's a fucking weirdo for sure but man o man I'm bad with faces so I never recognize anyone, I usually don't mean anything by it when I don't
[–]MattyIce1220 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
A club seems like an awful place to first meet someone. Better off going to coffee or something like that. If there is a connection and you guys still are dead set on going to a club at least you’d be walking in together.
[–]InfiniteShadows 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I just got horribly rejected 15 min ago she told me " i want give my number to someone like you " but guess what it s a game and i m in the losing side she can do whatever she want Once i become on the winning side i m gonna behave like her and do what ever i want to
[–]EvadingTaxes 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
to someone like you
So someone that looks like you is more confident?
[–]lelouch_2002 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
I m trying to be confident but i m not shy or socially awkward, i m still learning cold approach if i had a good game she wouldn't reject me for sure
[–]EvadingTaxes 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
The first step to confidence is eliminating the „if“ thoughts. If you’re think „if only I had good game, this never would’ve happened“ then you’re not gonna get good game.
You learn by doing, experiencing and, sadly, also failing. But it’s all part of the process. Of course being more on your game could’ve made a difference - but it’s not a switch that you pull, a change that comes over night. Keep trying and improving, eventually it’ll all come naturally to you!
[–]lelouch_2002 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Maan it s really hard i don t have friends who cold approach so we can practicing it together while having fun i just go by my self so my learning process will be extremely slow
[–]EvadingTaxes 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
I feel you - I don’t either so most of my approaches are kinda indirect like I smile at the girl in line behind me, she similes back, I make a comment. Ive Never in my life gone up to a random girl and said „hey, you’re really my type - we should grab a coffee!“ or anything like that lol
Imma be travelling on my own for a few weeks soon tho and I plan on working on my game a lot there (but ll constantly be in new places etc. so always new opportunities)
[–]lelouch_2002 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

[–]Lit-Up 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]BluffingAlgorithm 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]fangclan 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm sorry man, women like that are terrible
[–]JanetInSC1234 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The fact that she was dancing with three guys shows that she was not serious about any kind of meet-up. Bullet dodged....she's a party girl and you really don't need that.
[–]Tharrios1 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
See you in the gym bro, we will lift our problems away together.
[–]mookyvon 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Why are you letting the woman lead? Why meet at a fucking club of all places?
[–]alwaystostadas 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Was thinking the same thing, he put her in position of power.
[–]Dazzling_Scientist56 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn’t even have accepted meeting at a club. You were in her frame before meeting.
[–]khan114936 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Heres a pro tip
Once you get her phone number, give them a 5 or 10min, introduce yourself.
You'll be surprised how some women can turn out differently to what you expected just by hearing their voice.
Hope that helps, as this is what I usually do.
[–]cobraCL 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's just downright cruel. Zero integrity - be glad you missed that bullet.
OP, understand that what happened was more a reflection of that Bumble shithead than it was of you. Keep your head held high, and remember: A lion doesn't care about the opinions of cowardly hyenas.
[–]Extra-Boysenberry 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Don’t feel bad. I’ve been stood up and flaked twice off dating apps in the last week.
[–]Complex-Peak 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
First you expected to find a good girl from a dating app, first mistake, and then said girl told you to meet for the first time at a club, where sheb will approached by lots of guys, that have an equal chance with you, because you have never even met her. Holy shit. You realise you were just an option for the night.
[–]dark_helmt8 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Can take the hoe out dat club, but dat club tryina ease up in dat hoe, playa hahaha. Dodged a bullet homie, don't meet girls in clubs bro, those type bitches brains need further development.

There has been so many moments in my life where I, metaphorically, mine through rocks for months and months, hoping I reach the diamonds. Only to give up when all I had to do is mine for a couple more minutes to finally get to the diamonds. When everything seems like it is going against you and you’re about to tap out, that is the moment when you push the hardest. Don’t give up; you will get to your reward!!!
[–]The_Crude -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Did she even know that it was you? Maybe she thought you were just someone randomly approaching her while she waited for her bumble date.
[–]Rymasq 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and immature. Don’t take it personally, it’s not you, it’s them. At the very least in a situation like this the right thing from her end is to maybe spend time for 1 drink with convo, then say “hey sorry this has been great but my friend needs my help”. Then you ask about her friend as a follow up text the next day and she lies and says “oh they are fine, btw, I’m sorry I didn’t feel a connection”
Once again, don’t take this personally. It’s not you, it’s them.
[–]Bforbrilliantt 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Although I wouldn't want her to lie about the connection when the real reason was she could smell my arm pits. Assuming my nose had desensitised to the smell of my own body. After all I don't want to be doing something that's a universal turn off rather than a turn off to just this one specific woman I'll probably never see again.
[–]Ambitious-Ice2357 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Don’t even let it bother you.
[–]TechnoGeek423 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I wonder if she didn’t know who you were. In any case, she sounds antisocial. None of this bodes wel for a relationship. Also, a club for a first date? So she can get hit on my other guys and feel even more self important?
You know that slightly nervous feeling about meeting someone new for the first time? Sometimes that's enough to make people cower out.... It's sad when you read all this stuff on confidence and approaching and then the other party is the chicken shit! Although bumble, isn't that where women do the first message anyway? So it's not like she's just begrudgingly accepting someone she's semi attracted to. It is easy to start analysing all the body language and say "I should have been leaning my head at a 3.7 degree angle to the left to produce a calm comfortable vibe but I overcooked it by a couple of arc minutes and now she thinks I'm creepy. Also my moving Adam's apple rate was once every 7 seconds instead of every 8 seconds which portrayed discomfort" But sometimes it's just the woman chickening out at meeting a stranger or having a crap memory or day or she spilled beer down herself and didn't want this to be the first meet. As they say keep swiping.
[–]ltpeaches 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
WAIT. You said she dances at multiple clubs? Is she an exotic dancer that gets tips? If thats the case, then she uses Bumble for further marketing. If not, then I'm sorry. She's a bitch either way.

[–]Indian_Cap 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
One girl met me irl, she was pretty of course and we smoked and then she invited me to the bar. I went and she absolutely ignored me. Nothing except hi hello. Needless to say confidence was shattered and depression took over. So it’s definitely not because u look different in pics. Some girls are just assholes.
[–]pretty_dead_grrl 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Why was your confidence shattered by one person? Honestly, it sounds like you all need to figure yourselves out and like be your own source of confidence because if one person can “shatter” your self confidence, y’all aren’t ready to date.
[–]Indian_Cap 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Idk because this never happened before. But yeah I was bummed about it for like 3 days and then moved on.
[–]pretty_dead_grrl 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Oh my god. Nothing is more fragile than the male ego.
[–]Indian_Cap 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I have chronic depression for 5 years now and social anxiety. Sometimes by stuff like this, I get weird temporary feeling that I can’t describe even to my psychiatrist. It just feels like end of world and constant pressure in chest and feels like breath is choking in my throat. With that much social anxiety, it’s already super hard to put myself out there but I try cuz being alone makes me more depressed. And when something like this happens, I get fucked up. Sure I don’t feel like doing self harm like in my teens, but still I isolate myself and overthink. Please don’t judge me by knowing nothing about me. Thanks.
[–]pretty_dead_grrl 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Sorry, but therapy is available to everyone and I’m judging all men. Not just you.
[–]Indian_Cap 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If therapy works for everyone, there wouldn’t be people who committed suicide including lots of rich and famous people. After one point, everything stops working. Anyway I am blocking you and reporting you.
[–]eablokker 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe she is just a club promoter and you got scammed
Do you look like your profile photos? I cannot even tell you how often I’d meet up with a guy for a date and he looked nothing like his profile photo. Like at all. Nothing. One used his high school prom photo, one was at least a foot shorter than he told me was. And look, I’m fine with short or ugly dudes, but just don’t lie to me. Lie little, lie big.
[–]diamxnds 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
