I usually stay away from anyone who explicitly asks for a girl who “takes care of herself” or “enjoys working out like me.” It’s just a dog whistle way to say “no fatties.” The irony is that I’m a gym rat myself and would like to date someone who enjoys exercise. However, men who straight up demand a workout buddy make me feel like they’re just gonna judge everything about your body and expect you to look like a fitspo 24/7.
