Now normally this might seem like an easy question to answer but after browsing around and having some personal experiences with this and the contradictory nature or some opinions, I'd like to have a discussion.

So there's an art teacher who is also an Instagram influencer or something. She wears tight clothes which show off her surgically enhanced body to her students. She was under fire by parents becuase they felt she the clothes were too sexual in front of children. Many people in the comments stated that it's not her fault that her body shape (it is actually) and that the sexualization is being projected by the parents. Ok but on her instagram stories she wears similar, slightly more revealing clothing and puts emphasis on her ass and boobs. So is the sexualization being projected here as well, where there are tons of men liking and commenting on her body? But if a make teacher surgically enhanced his member and wore pants that were tight enough to make it visible, would that not be sexual. What if that same teacher also had an adult content page? Would that make it sexualized?

This goes into dating because there was a recent talking point about how women dress and what is considered inappropriate and sexual and what is fine.

This is something I see mostly with women where whether or not something is sexual isn't based on the perception of others but how they want it to be perceived at that time. We also see it when women complain about dress codes in certain places and claim it's sexism.

If whether something is sexualized is based on intent can we ever really say something is sexualized?
