Why would you start a conversation about Quantum Mechanics?

You're either:

A.) Talking to a physics professor who has to humor you as you spout off random and terrible theories.

B.) Talking to a physics student/graduate who is versed in Quantum Mechanics, so there's really nothing to talk about unless you want to do homework problems (that is - calculus/differential equations/linear algebra slog work) for fun.

C.) Talking to a layman who knows nothing about Quantum Mechanics, so you end up talking about the cat in the box and making a complete hash of it.

D.) Talking to an arrogant neckbeard who thinks he's versed in Quantum Mechanics, so you end up talking about whatever buzzwords the latest dramatized Tyson/Kaku/etc miniseries introduced you to...and making a complete hash of it.
