Thanks for replying. It's good to know this. I'm traveling the world with my GF for many years, so I get most of info on 'dating culture' online.

You're making conclusions about an entire gender based on one experience with one woman You're listening to her words, not her actions. Women lie to men about this sort of stuff all the time. You literally kissed her. If she's really not attracted to you, isn't the proof that women follow their emotions? You could have escalated to sleep with her - and if the sex was good, that could change her whole long-term opinion of you. Your post comes off as very emotional about a first date with one woma…

Go to Thailand to enjoy yourself. It's a fun place! If you have no social skills and approach anxiety, you're still going to struggle to meet women. Yeah, you'll get 'attention' from massage girls, bar girls and prostitutes. But other than that, you'll probably have to make it happen. Also many people complain about Tinder mostly being full of prostitutes, bar girls and ladyboys also, So, you'll have to deal with all that. There are hundreds of ways to 'improve your confidence', but I don't thin…

A lot of women get opportunities just from being pretty. As a man, you usually have to *earn* all your opportunities in life. In dating, you can do that by building yourself into a high-value man - and/or by putting the initial effort to woo a woman. You can cry about it. You can give up. But that's the way of the world.
/r/seduction16/08/22 02:03 PM
2

Ok, now I can answer the question of your original post. -- Men have to make more effort on dating apps because there are LITERALLY hundreds of thousands of guys also messaging them. Unless your photos make you look superior to almost of them, you're fighting an uphill battle. So, that's why you have to fight. When you meet women in real life, you put yourself to the front of the queue for her attention, just by standing in front of her and saying 'hi'. It's also easier to get her excited about …

Do you approach women in real life ever? Do you realize the advantages of doing that over online dating?

It's a start - but make sure you keep going out regularly and make you keep building on that. Also, don't take advice from people on here who have not even done one approach.

This response tells me you're not seriously interested in changing. You're just interested in being a victim and feeling sorry for yourself. Millions of people have people have overcome shyness. It's not a medical condition. Toughen up - or continue to down the same path you've been on. Your choice.

"I'm too shy to approach women" There's your problem. You want experience? Approach women. There are thousands of guides on overcoming approach anxiety, but I'd suggest getting a coach or an experienced wingman if you're serious about fixing your life. Stop being a victim when you've not even tried.

Unless you are super outgoing and funny in real life That's literally what game is. And guess what? It still works. If you're not outgoing and interesting, you would have failed in the early 2000s too.

Haha. Well, they'll find out pretty quickly if they ever agree to meet with you (That's assuming it doesn't come across in your Tinder and Bumble texts, like it does in your Reddit messages)

She doesn't want to have sex with you, not for you to sleep with anyone else. That sounds like a bad deal to me. It's time you man up and tell her want you want to do, rather than letting her dictate the terms.
/r/seduction10/07/22 03:47 PM

It's rare that women initiate the conversation. Women hate to lead. That's your job as the man. You can absolutely get the woman on a date even if she never texts you first. However, after having seen your other responses to this thread, I imagine your self-esteem might something to do with it
/r/seduction10/07/22 03:43 PM

I love it. Mix all of these together and you've got the perfect recipe for being left on read. Don't forget texting a woman, then sending "hello?" after she doesn't reply.

Hello, I can tell from the nature of your question that you're not experienced in cold-approaching women. If you were, you'd know it's the vibe and the energy you bring that matters, not the words you say. The classic daygame opener regularly works when you have a confident and playful vibe (although I wouldn't recommend asking for the number right off the bat). It regularly flops if you're feeling anxious, needy unconfident etc. I once opened a girl with a nightclub with "Do you like my shirt? …

When you create a new account, you got a boost in the algorithm and will be shown to more people. You look good enough in that one picture to attract matches. But don't be fooled. One picture and no bio isn't optimal. And you're absolutely overthinking the messaging part. Here's some info on how the Tinder algorithm works, delivered by an ex-Tinder employee.
/r/seduction08/06/22 04:43 PM

I see so many groups of average-looking men with no game in the club, doing fuck all except drinking. Needless to say, they don't get girls And if they go somehow fluke into a conversation, they mess it up.

You two must be extremely new to this community. I guarantee neither of you have tried it, and I'm assuming you've never seen a coach demonstrate it. Either that or you want to tell yourself it isn't real, due to your fear of actually trying it. There is absolutely a way to meet women as you go about their day. Check out the link under Step 2 of this post for a basic demonstration.
/r/seduction23/05/22 02:56 PM

This is all true, but I didn't want to overwhelm people who have barely done one daygame approach in their life. The exercise in the post is a great starting point to build from.

You wouldn't have slept with these guys either way. The tips in this guide still hold up. Actually, this is a good place to mention my past... In my teens and early twenties, I had tons of dates where both of us wouldn't stop talking. There were jokes, there were stories, there wasn't a moment of awkward silence. But there wasn't sexual tension either. In fact, it's usually nervous energy that creates this non-stop frantic chit-chat on a date. And guess what? On nearly all of these types of date…

Yes, but explicitly saying it out loud kills the sexual tension. It can also make a feel like a hussy.

Here's the thing. Any opener can be a good opener if you have good confident energy behind it. If you think it's cool and funny, say it. Your vibe is the most important thing, not the actual words you say. Most likely, this guy was lame enough for you to write a Reddit post about him because he wasn't confident in the golf wife thing. Anyway, props to that guy. He tried. Most guys don't approach at all, or they grope girls on the dancefloor.

The plausible deniability thing is huge, especially if you want to sleep with a girl on the first encounter. Talk about it while you're doing it, or after the first time. Show her a good time, avoid the biggest sex mistakes men make the first time round, and surely you'll get an opportunity at round 2
/r/seduction17/04/22 05:58 PM

Yes, so start from the bottom and build your way up. Build a cool social circle. Make some female friends. Invite them to the club with you. Post some photos with them on Instagram. And go from there. Basic social circle game. Or just complain how the rich get richer and do nothing about it. Your choice.

"What happens if I try everything but still have no luck at all?" Then you'll be in the same position you're in now... That part of your post confirmed what I expected all along. You're thinking too far ahead and intimidating yourself. A better strategy is to start taking action this weekend. Do whatever you can. If that's only complimenting two women, fine! If it's only asking the mall security guard for the time, also fine! But do something! And aim to improve on that next time - and again nex…

The concept is called 'social proof' It works with established brands. It's the reason why you buy Coca-Cola instead of some unknown cola brand. It's the reason you eat at the restaurant with the queue, rather than the one with no customers. It's especially important for women in dating. For starters, it offers solid evidence that a man isn't dangerous or creepy. Women fear that a lot. Their safety is the most consideration after all. But it also offers the most solid evidence that a man is cool…

I understand the parody. But why would you not want these things? Women inspire men to be better. That's good for society. If men got laid despite being losers, there would be a lot more losers out there. And that would be bad for society. With that said, it's a pretty good list.

Doesn't ever cold approach. Friend sets him up with ONE woman. Logs into Reddit. "Guys, having male friends is KEY!" Hahaha Actually, mate most of your original post described why having female friends is key

Hey man, "how to be confident" is such a broad topic which myself and plenty of people have written entire books on... However, if I could recommend one thing, it would be: GOING OUT and getting social reference experiences *with women especially. The more you practice, the more confident you should get, presuming you learn from your mistakes. At that point, social momentum should skyrocket your confidence.
/r/seduction28/02/22 01:17 AM

It's a good post. Allow me to make a TLDR: GOAL 1: Introduce yourself GOAL 2: Find out if you like her GOAL 3: Ask her on a date GOAL 4: HAVE FUN I'd also like to add that the main reason guys run out of things to say is: they don't think what they have to say is 'good enough'. Try some exercises to improve your self-worth, and you may find you can talk to women endlessly (just like you probably already can with your friends and family)

I'd like to add that it *can* get easier as you get older, because it you should be able to develop the personal qualities that women find attractive as you age. Intelligence Confidence Wealth Emotional Maturity Better in the bedroom A lifestyle she'd want to be a part of A history of interesting stories and experiences When you have these qualities nailed down, you can get away with being bald, short and old-looking etc. ...But it only happens if you put in the work to build these qualities. "Game doesn't work in my city" We have Telegram groups for gamers in 300+ major cities - and I hear this excuse in so many of them. If you have the attitude that daygame is creepy, the women will feel that way. If you have an attitude that meeting women in a mall is completely normal, they will feel that way. Read about The Law Of State Transference and Frame Control.

Oh, cool. Are we going to pretend that looks aren't the most important thing for men? Men are literally biologically wired to be attracted to younger adult women. Read a book. Younger women also often tend to be more feminine, have more zest for life and more fun to be around.

I'd recommend you learn daygame. You can head out to shopping malls, busy public streets, beaches and you'll find plenty of women. It could be a 'choosing signal' or it could be something completely different. Honestly, if you want to pursue this woman, the best thing you can do is assume she's attracted to you, until it's proven otherwise. This will give you the confidence in your approach that women really like. A lot of young and shy guys like to wait for 'choosing signals' before they make their move, but that's really dumb and unnecessary. I think he's saying: The main things that make a woman attractive are (somewhat) out of their control. Also, many women believe they can't make the first move, and so they're limited to waiting for Prince Charming. Meanwhile, the main things that make a man attractive, we can improve. Also, it's down to us to approach and make things happen for ourselves

Hey, I understand why you'd want this, but honestly you're shooting yourself in the foot by looking for these. It's not what you say that matters, it's the vibe you put out. These clever witty lines aren't going to make her want you any more. But if it comes across like you've prepared them in advance, that could work against you. You're better off preparing a list of general subjects to talk about, and things you want to know about her, rather than a list of corny pick-up lines.

I have been doing street approaches for 6 years+ and have never experienced rudeness like this. This is such a rare occurrence, hence why you felt the need to make a post. I know most people who lurk on this sub are complete newbies, who are already crippled by approach anxiety as it is. That's why I wanted to point out the rareness of such a scenario. If you're respectful to the women you approach, they're generally polite back to you. Anyway, you handled it perfectly. Good for you.

For whatever reason, society believes that men should be able to naturally be able to do this. As such, there is a belief that learning and practicing approaching is 'weird'. (This belief exists even though the vast majority are awful at talking to women and the average man sleeps with only 7 women in his entire life). Women are especially prone to believing this, because they don't understand the struggles of the average man. Hot women, in particular, only really spend time with the guys who ha…

Here's the thing with teasing. We only do it with people we're comfortable around - and importantly people who we feel on the same level as socially. By teasing a woman the same way you'd tease your friends, you're communicating that you're comfortable around her and not intimidated by her. She'll like it too! Women are mostly sick of being put on a pedestal (or at least they're not attracted to this behavior). You can be sure her friends and the other guys she chose to date would be teasing her…

When you finally do it, you're going to feel empowered and proud of yourself no matter how it goes, or at will at least be better than feeling like a fairy. You have this community to pat you on the back when you do ;) This moment where someone else got there first will be a blessing for you. Focus on how bad this feels. Embrace the pain. This is an interesting point. I wonder if there are any stats to back it up. I've certainly read that Generation Z are less likely to go out drinking than previous generations. It's also true that pretty no women longer need to go to the club to get their weekly dose of validation. Why do that when they can swipe on Tinder or post a selfie on IG?

I did this. The website looks very professional, but I found plenty of flaws in your questions. For starters, you didn't define a hook-up. Is it a hook-up if it leads to a relationship? I figured, no? Also, there are no clear instructions for people who have had multiple hook-ups. I'm sure you'll find people experience varying emotions after each one. C+ on your dissertation incoming

I feel like that. Even the most epic pulling stories don't sound that cool if you tell them about yourself. Only if there's a funny story behind it which just happens to end with "and then I banged her". Otherwise, it's just bragging. Better to share these stories with the pick-up community in a field report, adding value by explaining what you did to get the result. That's what I do anyway.

Logically, it might not make sense. But humans are led by EMOTIONS...and women are especially emotional. Her emotional side wants to fuck the cool guy. Being "good at game" involves poking at women's emotions. It involves bringing out her adventurous side. It involves being cool enough for her to take risks for, yet building enough of a connection for her (and her friends) to trust you. It involves solving her logistical hurdles, including smooth transitions between the club and the bedroom. Onc…

Here's the thing: Abundance vs Scarcity. When has a man has an abundance, he sets the standards for what happens in a relationship. If the woman doesn't like it, he'll find another one with relative ease. Typically, the woman accepts this and remains on her best behaviour because she's finally found a champion. When a man is in scarcity, the woman sets all the rules. She nags. She complains. She asks for stuff. She even withholds sex to ensure she gets her way. The man lets it happen because it'…

Be unapologetically yourself. That's what I said. That means being proud of who you are... You're better off embracing any negative behaviours than hiding them, Still, if you think you're awesome, you're not going to feel such extreme anxiety about meeting a girl. If anything, it'll feel like a win-win.

Girls love sex. I think you're overestimating their standards for who they will sleep with. If you're a fun, confident guy who can trigger their emotions and pull in a smooth way, you're good to go. My guess is that you're not pulling the trigger, and risking the hard "no". Am I right? Watch what happens when you actually go for it...

I mean sure all these things are good. My argument is you don't need any of these things to start feeling good about yourself...and you definitely don't need them to get laid. She wants a fun confident guy, who can speak her emotions and pull in a smooth way.

Firstly, I don't think virgins are demonised. Creepy, sociopath virgins are. And rightly so... Society doesn't need these people breeding... Perhaps what you mean to say is that virgins are mocked for being socially inept...Yet (as you point out), they're not that much more inept than the average guy who statistically sleeps with only 7 women in his lifetime. Exactly. Also, in a good pick-up, you should be the buyer, not the seller. A couple of times I've used this and the girl has said "Well.....I like drinking." Not a great response, but at least it's an IOI that she wants a date

I deliberately worded "I don't kiss...." rather than "you shouldn't kiss". I don't think it's a black and white rule. However, my theory is: if you become the make-out guy before the bedroom, "she knows how the story ends". It kills the tension, she can't justify your excuse to come home or that "sex just happened" and the anti-slut defence kicks in... If I do kiss, it's once, it's short and it's me that pulls away.

I skimmed through the conclusion. Good on you for going out and taking action. My advice on you, from what I read, would be to try and push things a bit further in your interactions. Add a bit of persistence. A bit more edge to your conversations. You're risking a full blow-out by doing this, but also increasing the odds of the woman actually being interested in you. This post illustrates what I'm talking about - - - mayvbe it will be useful to you https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/a…

This is an intelligent reply, and I agree with what you're saying. Still, newbies will get a lot further with "desperate" boldness than not making a move at all. The abundance mindset is massively helpful, but it takes time to cultivate. The most shocking comments on here are those that say: "7 is actually quite a lot." Let's say you were only single for FIVE years of your adult life. I agree. The problem is that many protagonists also develop oneitis, then they get the girl. Many are equally as pathetic. Think Albert from Hitch, or Ted from How I Met Your Mother. Hollywood often encourages dudes to obsess over one woman.

Until recently, I have been travelling the world solo for one year. Bouncing between cities every few weeks. I didn't even have any true "friends" in these cities during this time. Thankfully, I've practicing game for five years, so I've been fulfilling my "social needs" by meeting girls in clubs, on the street, in hostels on guided tours etc. Whether it's been a one-night stand or brief "holiday romances", it has been the best year of my life. Any pangs of loneliness would only last a few hours…

Yep, the scarcity is what makes them '10s' by definition...
/r/seduction25/11/18 01:48 PM
4

Exactly....and this exercise is very good for that as well. Here, you're focusing only on approaching as many as possible. You're not thinking about who's a 1 and who's a 10. You're not thinking about pulling (yet). Just open with the line, and take note of how you feel and how they react.... A great starting point for any newbie.
/r/seduction25/11/18 01:48 PM
3

This is actually a relevant question.... The main point is you'll only get the girls you believe you deserve. I also strongly believe you WILL get a lot of the girls you believe you deserve (or at least come close most nights) once you're familiar with the basics of closing/pulling. My guess is that, even if you call them 'ones', there's something telling you you're not good enough.

Great post. Look at this way, guys. There are three possible outcomes in situations like this You take action and it goes great. Euphoria like the OP's story You take action. Your life stays exactly the same The third option is you take action and it goes badly. I think a lot of people assume that the outcome to this has negative long-term consequences. Good. I'm sure you'll reap the rewards of that in the long run

As bizarre as your point on social media leeching is, it wouldn't surprise me if that was true. Sadly, I'm not the resident expert on this. I have 256 IG subscribers, although my profile is stacked with hot girls and cool activities

This is a very interesting debate. I look back on past sexual experiences with pride. Dare I admit, it even helps with my self-esteem. I'm sure you'd agree that this is incomparable to the real thing, or any sort of present moment stimulation. I'm currently reading 'The Power Of Now' and that book would definitely suggest that there's no joy in reminiscing.

Yes, sex with someone you love is amazing. It's still a temporary high, as how this post suggests. Having a child is a completely different topic... (P.S I like the sly dig at Seddit users, suggesting they'll never experience sex in a loving relationship)

I believe that approach anxiety never fully leaves you. You just have to learn how to deal with it. One way is to put yourself in situations that make you nervous 👍

Ok ok ok, if there's one thing I've learned about Reddit, it's that you get downvoted to fuck for linking to any website that isn't Reddit. But I count like half a dozen commenters who have asked for tips on how to be a more engaging speaker. So here goes... Here's a video that my business partner and I made called The Epic Story-Telling Challenge. It features everything we know about how to speak in a way that makes people want to fucking listen.

There seems to be no shame in your reply. You must be a cool guy ;)

Final point Yes, A-list celebs and rich handsome men may find it easier to 'be cool' because they have society telling them they are. So what? There are plenty of rich good-looking chodes who aren't cool and don't get great girls. There are plenty of physically flawed men who ARE cool. OWN the cards that are dealt to you....

Hi mate, A few ideas from me... Find a process to trust in The early days of the pick-up community didn't focus on self-confidence at all. These guys just had confidence in the PROCESS. They knew if they followed steps A,B,C,D,E properly, they'd get results, so they performed these steps. I think a great start would be to find a process - and immerse yourself in this for 28/30 days. Consider purchasing a digital course from Real Social Dynamics. 'The Natural' by RSD Max would be exactly what I'm…

Not obvious to everyone. Plenty of guys dont try because theyre not good looking. This aint about outclassing Ryan, it's about getting a sex life you can be proud of

On reflection, you're probably right. I read this from another Reddit post and added it here. Maybe that guy worded it better... Depends on the vibe I guess... A woman sat peacefully reading Reddit probably isn't going to go for this. If she's already horny on a date, it could work. I'd advise guys to calibrate to the situation...

I agree, confidence IS the most attractive thing. However, I'd say having a structure to hold onto helps people stress less about what to do next. This gives them more brain capacity to donate to being fun and witty, and helps them to be more assured with what they are doing.

Yes, of course. The post is actually titled word-for-word after a question someone actually asked in our Telegram group. It's probably one of my favourite questions of all time. For what it's worth, I usually use 'excuse me'

Yes, I've been travelling solo for the last year and I now realise the only thing I needed a wingman for was to get let in the club in the first place amd to cure approach anxiety....

Yes, yes, yes. Looking back, there was never one set where having a 'wingman' benefitted me. (maybe I was going it wrong?) The only thing they were ever useful for was helping me get in the club (solo entry is frowned upon for males in London) and making me not feel like the 'weird guy with no friends'. It's particularly pointless in daygame, other than for getting over approach anxiety, because you end up losing them really quick anyway. Now, I travel the world solo, do DG and NG solo and I'm s…
