Oh wait... looks like jokes can be used to send messages and aren't "just jokes". The question is the intention behind the underlying joke. In this case, are they attempting to make listeners cringe by making them realize their silly assumptions about an individual/group? Or are they using it as a sigh about reality, thus confirming the assumption to be true?

Given how prominent in society the "male sexuality = dangerous" meme is and the lack of context suggesting going against that... I'd guess the latter and they're just being sexist. They're probably looking for people that agree with the underlying feeling and give a sympathetic laugh, not looking to make people cringe and think about their silly assumptions.
