28-year-old Kevin Wilson has been arrested for taking a 16-year-old girl’s virginity and sending her pictures of his erect penis. This all went down in Kissimmee, Fla. (don’t laugh), where police have charged the former Osceola High School teacher with unlawful sexual activity with minors and transmission of pornography by electronic device.

The trouble began last fall, when the school received an anonymous letter saying he was screwing around with students. He went H.A.M. on one kid in particular, calling her out of class saying she had left something behind in his room. This sounds like many a porn plot, a typical teenage girl’s fantasy.

As soon as the kid stepped in the room, he rushed her into a closet and proceeded to have sex with her—during school hours. The kid wasn’t so hot for teacher though, saying, “It’s bad, that when I grow up and think about my first time, I have to think about Mr. Wilson.”

Wilson had quit and moved to Colorado, but authorities tracked him down. He’s currently being held on $85,000 bond. As inappropriate as this is, there’s some high school girl out there that wishes it had been her.

Disgusting behavior all around. Kid gets raped and a journalist finds it amusing. Just because the kid is a male and the rapist is a woman, does not make it right. I would love for some woman to come up and have sex with me, I really would. But first, I have to consent to it. Forcing penetration on either side is unlawful.

In my country, 16 is the legal age for sex. And when the person isn't actually fighting back, a have a hard time calling it rape. It is inaproapriate, but not rape. Same thing if it was a girl. If the victim had been younger though, then I would have called it rape

Here is where I always get confused: how does age of consent play into this? I know Florida has it at 18, making this null and void, but if this were to happen in a state where it was at 14 would it still be rape? After all it's defined as being legally competent to consent to sexual acts.

It is a joke. A 28 year old and a 16 year old, regardless of genders, is not something that needs government/police involvement. If you're 16, boy or girl, you're old enough to decide to have sex or not, with another 16 year old or with a 100 year old.

It's inappropriate on some level because she's his teacher, but that's a matter for the school. I don't care if she's fired, but she shouldn't be arrested.

As a member of this community, I have the hardest time getting mad about this kind of stuff. I mean I understand, as the top upvoted comment states, the double standard. That's the shitty part. But if I was back in high school and had some hot teacher trying to get with me, I can't say that I would bd upset/say anything to authorities about it.
