from reading AskWomen and other similar subreddits, it seems that most women generally need more than physical attraction to get to be intimate with a man (with the exception of alcohol being involved).

But I also have come across threads where women who were once heavily attracted to their husband, boyfriend lose it due to becoming unemployed for extended periods of time, immature, lazy etc..

I actually have a male friend who is dating a woman in her mid-20s. She's extremely hot (like 8 out of 10) and very intelligent (got a 4.0 GPA). Despite that, she's has some moderate autism and a personality disorder. She comes across as incredibly annoying, has few friends, still lives at home, doesn't pay rent, dropped out of college multiple times, quit many jobs and had trouble with drug use. He says that he's fought with her many times and she irritates him but still wants to be with her. I know of many reverse situations with female friends where they told me that they lost sexual attraction to their boyfriend who was good looking/smart at first until they developed problems and they bailed.

Would you say this is the case?
