She has just appealed to seal all the written transcripts, video and audio depositions from the trial. Meaning they won’t be available to the public or other courts (in case of another trial) if she gets her way. This will also allow her to spin things in the media as she wants because people can’t get the real transcripts and depositions.

I think it’s worth noting that Depp’s net worth is estimated to be around $150M so I don’t think it’s a huge windfall for him anyway. This was definitely not about the money for him but about clearing his name and showing the world that men can be victims of abuse as well.
