If your focus is tradcon women then yes, obviously lol

There’s very little appeal to that lifestyle for those of us who aren’t religious. They exist, but definitely rare. What would be the rationality for those of us who aren’t religious to be traditional and conservative?

Your post and your title don't really match. A church Chad will have his pick of religious and traditional women, but generally they will want him to be in the "marriageable age" range 22-30 and demonstrate religious leadership/headship skills, or at least be a committed man of God. A recent unmarried "convert" at age 40+ isn't really going to have his pick of young tradcon virgins to marry at many churches because he will be an outsider or at the very least outside of the "normal" age to them.

A masculine man with progressive values will do well with women with similar values.

Well yeah, obviously, if your goal is a tradcon female partner. Tradcon women are much more likely to be religious, and religious women are much more likely (and in many cases, only open to) dating men of their same religion.

Based on mere numbers, yes, but the opposite is not true (women looking for men). In most churches, women greatly outnumber men, regardless of relationship status.

If you're a single woman looking for a man in church, good luck! In nearly every church I've ever visited or attended, single men close to my age were basically nonexistent.

Worst of all, single women over a certain age are either ignored at best or treated like actual dog shit at worst in church. They don't know what to do with us and it shows.

Not necessarily. It depends on how many like minded religious women he meets. Also, religious people struggle in other ways, some force marriage when they arent compatible, they rush into it for sex, they can be controlling.

One thing I want to mention is religious women arent always submissive and traditional. I grew up with alot of conservative religious people and alot of the women Ive met are very career oriented and dont prioritize kids. So thats not a guarantee. IMO religious people are often hypocrites or dont follow what is preached...some of the most domineering bossy rude women Ive met identify as hardcore Christians.

My social circle currently is mostly nonreligious people who can be traditional in some ways. It really depends.

Yes it is. Churches are probably he main place for Christians to meet their spouses, followed by specific online places. Religious people know they have shared values and lifestyles.

Plus other religions have arranged marriages. Can't really get much easier than that.

I'm not religious at all and have had relationships with religious and nonreligious women. I think it's actually harder for religious men. I don't see too many nonreligious women wanting to be with strict religious men or vice versa. But I do see religious women that will be with nonreligious men and vice versa. The number of religious women I see with nonreligious men makes it seem like religious women don't actually even like religious men TBH. As a nonreligious man I've never had a religious woman bat an eyelid if she was attracted to me and I told her I wasn't religious. What they will do is date me and try to get me to come to church though LoL

It's the opposite in my experience. My fraternity bother is Mormon and only dates in the church. His options are limited and the quality of his previous partners were atrocious. The problem with really religious folks is that they don't believe in seeing therapists so if you have a psychiatric problem then the response is more prayer. Basically, a huge portion of the community has untreated mental illness.

But if you want to give it a go then by all means, have at it, but best if luck to you. You'll need it.

Non-religious men usually don't want tradcon women as they aren't tradcon either. They can use whatever they do with their time while others are worshipping as a way to meet women, and it'll probably work better as there tends to be a lot of gender separation in religious contexts. Being non-religious is a positive personality trait to non-religious women as they usually don't want to date religious men.

Yes. Religious women out number religious men. And many religious women, especially fundi religious women are desperate to settle down and get married. There are significantly less fundi men than women, and these marriages typically happen while in high school, during college (if they go), or immediately after graduating college. Which leave the less religious men that way to sew their oats before settling down.

It's really complicated though. Extremely religious women don't fuck around much, and men typically want to fuck around before they settle down. And the religious people that do fuck around before actually determining whether or not they want to get married don't practice safe sex and end up having children. In religious families there's a stigma against out of wedlock children and dead beat dads so families of both sides can be overbearing which makes dating new partners after the "oops" baby difficult.

Less religious women don't have an issue with dating men who don't have any faith or men that don't have a strong faith. The more religious women have faith as a parameter for dating and marriage, so religious men that wanted to fuck around before settling down have to prove their devotion to their religion before the religious woman chooses them.

Ultimately yes, it is easier for religious men to date and have relationships. However, it's more complex and ridgid than most men are willing to tolerate. Religious men want the sexual freedom of no believers, but often want to impose their religious beliefs on the sexual partners that the desire to have, which makes any sexual experiences they want to explore outside of their religious communities difficult. And it breeds resentment towards the religious women that they choose because they want a more sexually adventurous lifestyle and relationship that neither party are able to navigate.

In other words, they have the option to be with religious women at any time, but don't really want the option until they've satisfied themselves sexually, but by that time, they have to "prove" to the religious women that they're interested in if they actually practice the faith enough for the woman to choose them.

Probably. One benefit of religion is religious communities. I’d say a huge barrier for men and even some women when it comes to relationships is having a social circle from which to actually make connections and meet people. Religion often solves this problem from the outset.

Not really, I'm religious and for girls that aren't religious it's turn off especially when you mention sex after marriage. Church girls have as high standards as any other girl according to looks, money, status, humor etc. for some aspects even more. If you're asking only about trading then probably yes.

Hell no. Most good relationships are made via hooking up with someone then deciding wow I really like you let's date. Religious ones are often shitty and controlling. Even the good ones aren't easier to find than non religious people.

Plus religious people rush into marriages just to have sex bc they're attracted to their husband or wife. And that's bad. My great uncle who's very rich married a gold digger accidentally and he's miserable. My dad has 2 divorces from rushing into things. Don't think all religious Marriages are good.

Churches almost always have more single women than single men. Religious men usually definitely have their pick. Also, church women are usually much more relationship minded than non religious women because most churches emphasize being a wife whenever the topic of being a woman comes up.

At most, you have about 12% who are "non-religious."

Most religious people are going to want to marry a person with their same religion, and they won't be very flexible about that. If adhering to their religion wasn't very important to them, then they wouldn't be religious in the first place. They're limiting themselves, but of the people who are left, those people are much more likely to be compatible, having a shared religion.
If non-religious people are going to be picky, they're really limiting their options if they're only willing to date other non-religious people, limiting themselves to, at best, about 12% of the population they're otherwise interested in.
Non-religious people are aware of that, so they're often willing to compromise, and at least somewhat go along with the religion of their partner. Shutting up and going along with it make the relationship harder, though. It's not only inconvenient, but having to "pretend," at least keep their opinions to themselves, takes a toll. Saying grace before meals? Might be small enough to tolerate. Elaborate rituals? Could be a bit too much. Cutting off part of your newborn son's dick? Could be a bit too much. Children have died as a result. As disgusting as it sounds, some rabbis put their mouth on the babies bleeding dick, and babies have gotten STDs as a result.
From the perspective of the non-religious person, being in a relationship with a religious person means being in a relationship with someone who has mental health issues, is delusional. Don't get offended, maybe you really did choose the one true religion! But, probably not. But, it's like: would you want to marry someone who seriously believed in the Easter Bunny? Tooth Fairy? Santa Claus? That's what religious people look like from the perspective of the non-religious.
Even if a non-religious person is willing to go along with their partner's religion, that still might not be enough for the religious person to be willing to marry them. Religious people want their partner to enthusiastically participate, not just go through the motions for the sake of making the relationship work. The non-religious partner might not be accepted into the religious community.

So, if you're the kind of person who just can't trick yourself into believing in imaginary, magical creatures, you're going to have a hard time dating.

As an agnostic (probably more like atheist, but I think being super confident in one direction or another isn’t great) man, I would agree with this.

Most conservative women are religious, and I think conservative woman are better at raising kids, and they’re usually more feminine and physically attractive, too. (I’m sure that opinion will piss some people off but it has been my experience. When’s the last time you saw an overweight girl with half her head shaved and dyed blue with eyebrow piercings who claims to be a conservative?)

Religious women are (usually) less promiscuous also.

EDIT. Sometimes I sort of wish I was religious, but I just don’t “buy” the whole god thing overall. I think being dead is exactly what it was like before you were born. Depressing? Maybe. Likely? Yes… Why would there be something instead of nothing?

It depends. On the one hand, trad con women are a small percentage of the population and many of them end up marrying more progressive guys.

On the other hand, trad con promotes speedy marriage as intrinsic to being a full human, so you are more likely to find people who have a sense of urgency about finding someone to marry.

Also if you are both tradcon you have a bit of an edge in that you know you will have shared values/interests/religions which automatically makes you more likely to be compatible than random people.

I do think religious people may have an easier time finding dates because Churches and places of worship are pretty much the only co-Ed place where people spend a lot of time mixing and mingling and forming bonds by seeing the same people each week outside of work (and dating at work is pretty much outlawed in modern society).

The drawback is obvious. The people you meet of the opposite sex are religious people lol

Yes and I’d also argue that people from close knit communities that share traditional values (small towns, churches, clubs, etc) also have an easier time settling down. A tradcon woman is probably already going to be married in their early to mid twenties, you aren’t going to find these women on dating apps because they likely already know several great suitors who have been vetted by their community.
