Hey guys, just need some advice/ support. Been divorced now for about 3 years, I do my best to not let her get to me. I have 2 teen girls so I can't cut ties. Here is my issue. Every time I have to see her she makes it a point to tell me I am failing at something or did something wrong or am hurting my kids in some way. I am a good dad, I am very capable and conscious of their needs. Like today.... I have, for the last 30 years changed the oil on all of our cars, never had a problem. Today she tells me that she took my daughters car to a mechanic and I did the oil change wrong. Made me giggle in the moment because it was ridiculous. but the frequency of these jabs just make me furious. I don't understand why she has the need to make me feel like a failure. She text me to tell me that my daughter was crying uncontrollably and planning to quit her sports team because I didn't support her. My daughter and I were sitting on the couch together talking about how great it was that she made the team when I got the message. She wasn't crying, mom hadn't seen her since she made the team, it was an hour after tryouts that I took her to. I just don't understand the need to cut me down. She destroyed the family. Any words of wisdom?
