If you have an instant pot, chili is a good easy meal with not much mess and freezes well. You can do it on the stove, too, but it takes more time and babysitting.

I've lately become a big fan of Trader Joe's pre-marinated meats. They are somewhat high-sodium, so if that's a concern, maybe not the best choice. I also have a Food Saver vacuum sealer. I portion out what I want/need for that meal, and put the rest in a vacuum seal bag.

My go-to meal is 8-12 ounces of meat (chicken (pesto, shawarma, or pollo asado) , or I'm a fan of TJ's Bulgoghi) cooked on my countertop grill (basically a "George Foreman"), spinach stir-fried in Lee Kum Kee Chow Chiu garlic chili oil, and steamed broccoli. Been trying to cut back on carbs, but I'm not hard-core Keto or Atkins.

I tend to get the bagged frozen broccoli florets, because they keep a long time, and they steam up nicely.

I'm going through the divorce process out she moved out with the kids. I used to be the cook in the family so the fridge was always stocked would make several things I would experiment with new recipes. Right now I'm kind of in a rut and I've been making chicken fried rice and alfredo with chicken pasta and macaroni and cheese with hamburger meat and peppers. So this meals since I'm by myself will usually last me a few days to carry me through the through the week. Would love to have a few more ideas from my rotation what are you guys doing for food.

Glass pan. Lay down a few sheets of phyllo dough. Layer with chicken or beef. More phyllo. Layer with cream. Cheese or thick or strained yogurt. More phyllo. Layer with jalapeños. More phyllo. Brush top with butter. Slice it into triangles. Bake at 385 for 15-20 mins.

Alternative: Philly cheesesteak mix.

Tldr basically a crispy flaky lasagna type of food. Great for meal prepping and snacking.

When I don’t have my kid? Yoghurt and granola. When I have my kid I try to make nutritious food for her sake. If I’m in a rush I make tacos, easy, goes fast and she loves it.

Been making my own dinners since 1985 used to travel for work and my entire crew of guys would be at my apartment after for dinner I would have to say one of my favs are green chilli chicken enchiladas but I can cook about anything I liked to smoke alot of weed when I was younger so I took every foods class I could in school just to eat munchies but later I found out it was good because the class was 90% females then I was an aid for the teacher gave me her keys to go shopping every day pretty much until I slept with her

Aldi is excellent for fruits and veggies on a budget, just eat them quickly lol

Costco has an amazing pre-marinated tri tip for under $7.50/lb that I do a lot of, smoked on the pellet grill and makes excellent leftovers, chop up for instapot chili or even eating cold is great.

Once in a while I get the marinated St. Louis ribs at Costco for a treat, those always come out bangin'.

Mushrooms, zucchini, asparagus, broccoli all rotated through for veggies. There's also LOTS of great frozen pre-marinated salmon and other fish that come out phenomenal. Wild caught salmon isn't as expensive as you may think, especially if it's in season.

1) Nachos baked in the oven. Throw some chips in a baking dish or cookie sheet. Throw some shredded cheese, a can of pinto beans or other protein. Served with sour cream and salsa. Olives if you wish. Easy eats, easy cleanup, usually have ingredients around.

Anything that’ll last 2-3 days. That goes for meat. Chicken, fish, beef. And then get some microwaveable rice and veggies to go with it. But, I just made shepherds pie tonight. Good comfort food that should get me a couple days

I put a brick of ground beef into the air fryer, after cooking it I alt it, lay a slice of cheese on top and that's my meal. It's easy, has lots or protein, zero carbs and is quite delicious. That's what I eat most days.

The most involved recipes I have tried all include the phrase "puncture film for ventilation" and a warning to allow the item to sit a few minutes before removal from the microwave.

That being said, more often a can of Pringles for supper fills the stomach effectively. Why don't more people know this?

Pizza on stone fire nann. Each kid gets there own. Usually have sauce, turkey bacon and cheese on hand. Ready in 10 mins in oven.

Throw some kind of meat in the crock pot with a handful of other vegetables and appropriate liquid and spices. After 6 hours or so, shred the meat with two forks and put it back in. Zillions of combinations, all good as long as you've got a decent nose for figuring how much of the spices you need to make it good.

Tacos, spaghetti salad and bread sticks, egg roll in a bowl, sous vide pork tenderloin broccoli and stove top, burgers, steaks, hot dogs.

Found an awesome lemon pepper chicken recipe last week. Cut chicken breasts in half so they are thinner. Coat em 1 part flower two parts lemon pepper. Cook breasts five minutes each side and remove. Put 4 tablespoons butter in pan garlic brown garlic for a minute then pour in 4-8 ozs of chicken broth….and I add the zest of a lemon to make my boys love it.
