It explains the whole tire slashing incident. The rest of this is some (not all) of the horrible things that have happened afterwards. I'll just make it as short as possible... but it's so tough to provide a clear story without providing extra details. If you have any questions, I'll just answer them.

A few months the original posted incident, I went to drop my two kids (who were 1 and 3 years old at the time) off at her place. She got angry after I told her she was lying about something (a day care schedule... I forget), and after telling her I had emails to prove it, she started yelling and screaming at me. I hate it when she goes apeshit around the kids. They're already scared and crying, so I told her I was just going to kiss/hug my kids goodbye and leave (who were just a few feet away). As I started to reach out for the kids, she jumped in the way and put her forearm into my chest. I pulled out my camera and started to record. She hit and grabbed my arm, and then attempted to pull the camera from my hands. As non-violent as possible, I was able to keep my camera, and walk out the door. The kids were a wreck and balling their eyes out. I hated that entire situation. I felt so bad they had to see all of that. As I left, I could hear her screaming to the kids about how I don't love them. I felt so horrible. On my way home, I received a call from the police. They told me to come back because my wife said I assaulted her. So of course I had to clear my name. I went back and spoke with the officer. I was cleared of any wrongdoing and told I could leave.

So... She accuses me of assaulting her. I have it on video that she was the person who actually assaulted me. The police tell me I'm free to go. What? ...what about her filing a false charge that could completely wreck my life? What if I didn't have video to back my up claim? I would have went to jail. She makes a false claim? Nothing happened to her.

Around this time I filed a civil suit for tires. I emailed her a few times, politely asking her to pay me back for the damage. She ignored this request. So I went ahead with civil suit.

From there on, I had her pick up and drop off the kids at the local police station. I didn't trust her, so I figured that would be the safest place. At this point she could seriously harm herself, and then blame me while calling the police. She's evil like that. So... while dropping the kids off, she said she needed to talk. I told her to call me... she refused and said she wanted to talk face to face. As I got in my car, I told her to call me because I had to leave. She then blocked the exit of the police station with our daughter in her arms, and holding my son's hand. When I would inch forward, she would move closer to the car. All this while yelling and hitting my windows. I parked my car and went inside the police station to ask an officer for help. He came out with me and told her to back away so I could leave... which she then did. Oh yeah, I have video of this as well.

As for the civil suit, it happened, but she never showed up... and she was forced to pay me for the tires through wage garnishment.

After all of this, I filed again for child custody. I showed the judge the videos and told him the entire story. He was upset and even raised his voice at her when he saw the tire slashing video. He was mostly upset because it was in front of the kids. So after it was all said and done, I was NOT allowed custody. (shocker...) ...and I was even given LESS time with the kids. Before the trial, I had every other weekend, plus one day on the alternate week. Now I only have every other weekend. There was no explanation for why I was being punished. So on top of paying $2800/m in child support, I get to see my kids only 4 days a month.

After that case, I went down to the magistrate to try and file another criminal case against her for slashing my tires. For some reason, this magistrate listened to me and decided to go ahead and file the paperwork. I was subpoenaed as a witness.

I went to court for that, this morning. The county prosecutor wanted to talk with me before the case. She asked me to help her out with the story. I explained the story again (which was in front of her, in written form). She seemed pretty upset at me for some reason, and then asked me, "what do you want from this?" in a very snarky tone. I told her I just wanted my wife to be charged for a crime that she committed. She said that I don't have a police record, so it would be tough to charge her for anything. I told her the police didn't file a record because they thought the car was hers.... but it's mine, and I had video of her doing it. She said that video may have worked in civil court, but she has "higher standards". She then told me she would go talk to my wife's lawyer to see what she could do... but she couldn't promise me anything.

No shit...

I go into the court room, and literally 10 seconds after I sit down in the back row, I'm told the case has been dismissed. Both my prosecutor and my wife's attorney both agreed to dismiss the case. NOTHING.. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was said on my behalf. My wife and her lawyer walk out. A minute has not even passed... I'm standing there like "wtf just happened?" The bailiff comes over and asks me if I was here for the next case. I tell her no, I was hear for this case. She then motions the prosecutor to come over to talk to me. I ask the prosecutor "what just happened?" She told me that didn't have enough "evidence" for her to continue this case. I told her I had video in my pocket that I could show her. She goes "well, what more do you want? You already won the civil case" I told her that I don't want any money... I just wanted to charge the person, who put a knife into my car tire and prevented me from seeing my kids, with a crime. She told me I should just let it go, and that I didn't have enough evidence. At this point, I can see that she's getting angry because I'm questioning her. I tell her again "I have evidence, it's a video that clearly shows her getting a knife from her kitchen, walking outside, and putting it in my tire so I couldn't take my kids." She told me that the case was over, and there was nothing more she could do.

???

What the fuck?

So yeah... I'm not sure if this belongs in Men's Rights... but I'm sure if I were female (and she were a man), none of this shit would have happened.

If anyone has any idea where I can go with this, please let me know. Maybe I'm wrong, but a lawyer wouldn't even be able to help me... right? The county prosecutor represents the county vs my wife... so it's up to her to put forth the effort of going through with the case? I'm so confused. In all my experiences, the courts just seem to continuously fuck me over. =(

Pardon all the spelling and grammer mistakes... I'm in a fast typing pissed off mood. ...and sorry, I don't think I can TL:DR this. "Screwed again" or something..
