How do you, as someone who identifies with the RP or RPW, feel about age gap relationships? I feel as though, based on everything I've read, learned and seen so far, and considering someone's SMV and RMV, the natural tendency is for men to look for younger women, when they're at their peak, and for younger women to look for older men, when they're at their peak (due to financial stability, generally ready to settle down).

But, still, age gap relationships are kind of a taboo topic it seems. More so than traditional relationships.

Is this a bad move, and if so, why? I feel like a woman's youth holds more weight and value for an older man than for a man in his 20s or early 30s. And, if that's true, a younger women could leverage that into finding a high value male and not having to settle or drop some personal requirements, right?

I know there's some overall difficulties - health, for example, difficulty to relate to the person, how others will perceive you. But I keep thinking - if a woman's value peaks in her early 20s, wouldn't it be easier to use the youth and overall benefits you have into settling for a safer, more stable, older match?

My current background is, I'm 22F and I've gone out with a 45M that has traditional values, is open to marriage and kids, is financially stable, and has a lot of great stories to tell. And I personally think that he's more attracted to me than anyone has ever been. I'm also the youngest he's ever gone out with; his ex wife was his age. I know there's stigma around this, but when I think about the things I look for in a man - he has pretty much all of it. The only exceptions are the age gap and a child from the previous marriage.

Honestly curious to hear about your opinions and/or experience!
