Women who post half-naked pictures on social media are generally far beyond just "moderately good-looking". Especially those with thousands of followers, normal women on social media have dozens and they're all or nearly all real acquaintances. Men offering to fly you out and not as some scam is a fairytale to the vast majority of women. You're claiming the value of Instagram models is overinflated, but they're in their own league and it's a high one. Who determines your value anyway but the buyers in the market?

Why do men think that being “moderately” good looking is a ticket to getting flown out to Dubai?

Also I’ve noticed men generally add inflated value to this kind of thing. Women aren’t getting flown out to Dubai just to shop and relax on the beach. They are getting flown out to provide sexual favors to the man spending the $ on them. You want your entire trip to be controlled by some dude in a foreign country in exchange for sexual favors? It’s essentially sex work.

You think it’s fun to constantly be harassed in the street by random men “at any time of day”? What if the woman already has a partner, these advances don’t just magically go away. Would you enjoy being constantly haggled on the Street at any time of day by people you’re not attracted to?

A final note - most moderately attractive dudes aren’t “struggling” on dating apps. Either they are ugly, broke, out of shape, or all of the above. Moderately attractive men might not be drowning in a sea of women like a 10/10 Chad bro but they are still able to get women.

The guys that appear to be 7/10 on subs like amiugly are usually taking pictures in dirty bathrooms, with dirty mirror selfies or look like they wrote up an Elliot Rogers type of manifesto and are surprised that women aren’t dying to date them.

I hate the redpill for spreading this nonsense. No moderately good woman who posts on Instagram experiences this. Maybe highly attractive women do. I agree that youthful female beauty is more valued than youthful male beauty but that is because of biological reasons. Beauty in women is generally higher valued so it makes sense that the “rewards” for it are also higher. However that doesn’t mean that most above average women have this lifestyle you’re describing. You probably know some “moderately good-looking girls”. What is their life like?

I think that this underlines how men and women's brains are wired differently.

What concerns me personally is what a waste of time following women on social media is. It's a major time suck, and there's really no payoff. A lot of the pics are filtered, fake. How much affirmation does a woman really need anyway?

Maybe it's useful for them if they're making money selling a product or something.

If I wanted to see some woman in a bikini, or naked, I could just google it.

Moderately good looking women don’t have hundreds of thousands of followers or rich men flying them to Dubai. Get away from the screen, you’re looking at social media posts from the 0.1% and thinking that it’s normal life.

I'm a 6 on a good day and even in the United States I get a couple dozen likes in the first day. A legit good looking guy gets hundreds of likes in the first day.

Your first wrong point is that zoomers aren't approaching.

Take the same moderately good-looking guy as an example and they literally won't get a single match on dating apps. I personally found several posts from guys like this in amiugly sub that are easily 7/10 in terms of looks but have 0 results on the same apps.

If you are a legitimate 7/10, women will approach you and you will slay on dating apps, those men are not 7s, post what you think a 7 really is. That being said I agree with you that a good looking man will get less attention than a woman about 2 point below him on the looks scale

If I were a wealthy playboy in the past before social media I could get hot girls by going to the hottest nightclub in the city and getting a VIP booth and either picking out a girl from thr crowd or just wait for them to come to me. A pretty sweet deal HOWEVER it meant my pool was limited to just which girls were in the club that night. I’d be assured of a very, very hot girl but not necessarily the hottest in the city.

Now? The hottest women in the city slide in my DMs on social media or I slide in theirs and so my potential pool is now every woman in the city not just the 100 hot women in the nightclub.

It's not over-inflated, it has precisely the value that the market assigns to it. For a small percentage of women, that involves thousands or more social media followers, an army of simps on Twitch and Insta and so on ... and they have the value to generate that demand, otherwise the demand would not be there. But this is a small portion of women ... most women are not Insta models or e-girls or what have you.

Attractive young women who are not in that category still have the highest market value because the market values them more highly than virtually anyone else. That means men -- men value them more highly than anyone else, in terms of what kinds of men these women can successfully hold out for in the market. As I mentioned in another post, this happens due to a combination of women being less needy and more patient than men are (making them pickier in the market) and men being more needy and urgent due to sexual desire imbalance (more intense sex drive creates urgency and makes them less picky), which acts to drive up the value of women in the market relative to men in the market at all levels but the high tail.

Most of this has nothing to do with social media, because the young women who are commanding thousands of followers in Insta or who have 3k guys glued to their monitors whenever they are streaming on Twitch are a tiny percentage of all women, including all young women. It has to do, instead, with the imbalance of desire between men and women, because this generates pressure on men to "settle" in the market (because they're more intensely sexually driven) while women are no longer under the pressure to settle to marry that they were in prior generations when they were economically dependent on men. So, yeah ... men have lower value because they want it more, and the person who has what they want but feels less pressure to "settle" can name her price. It's all market factors, though -- it's because men are more needy sexually, which distorts the market. It's not what a tiny portion of women are doing on Instagram, it's what most needy men are doing in the actual dating/mating market that creates the imbalance and drives up women's value relative to men's.
