Recently saw a post about this which sparked my interest - it’s an AITA of a woman asking if she’s the AH for saying if she was giving birth and the choice came down to saving her or the child, she’d want to save herself.

Her logic being she has a lot of people who love her and would be devastated if she died (her parents, siblings, close friends), she wouldn’t want the child to grow up without a mother and knowing they’re the reason for her death, and ultimately you can kinda just have another baby.

Her husband said she was selfish for thinking that and that if she died he’d simply remarry so the child not having a mother wouldn’t be an issue to him. It may just be fake ragebait, idc.

I asked my bf this and he immediately said he’d choose me, mainly for lovey dovey reasons but also because he’d hate to cope with losing me and then raising a newborn as a single parent, it would be far easier to heal from the loss of the baby together and then someday have another.

What’s the consensus here?
